Please read the first post carefully, and you should find your answer. If you are still uncertain, please read post #40 for clarification.

Does anyone know how I can contact macdev's US distributor directly via a phone # or email address? I just found out about all this because I haven't been able to play for over a year and it turns out that I have one of the GCI bottles on my '05 Legion Air. I tried the link posted earlier and it didn't work for me. I also tried emailing info@macdev.net, but I believe that those go directly to the Australian branch. I've sent 3 e-mails so far over the past 2 months and they still haven't gotten back to me. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Contact details can be found here, but you may need to deal directly with MacDev in order to resolve this.

Here's an update on the situation for anyone else who bought one of these tanks through MacDev and is still finding out about this...
I contacted the California distributor and they basically told me tough luck and wanted to charge me $160 for a new tank. I wasn't really mad because they're obviously not to blame here and it's been so long since their offer for marked down tanks was over (they did it for 9 months and it's been almost 2 years).
Not one to just throw away a good thing, I contacted the MacDev Australian HQ through e-mail (info@macdev.net). It took them a while to get back to me, but it was because I sent a picture of my tank and it was being filtered out of their inbox. When they finally did get back to me, they understood my situation and with no hassle they decided to extend the offer for me. In the end they are billing me $60 for a new tank and all I have to do is ship it to CA to be replaced.
MacDev never ceases to amaze me!

No-one uses these tanks anymore. This should only ever be an issue now if buying a second hand tank.
If you look at the first post, this thread refers to something that was current in August 2005.

Hi Guys,
Was bored at work and stumbled upon this. Normally I would not bring this up, but I do have a 68/4500 3A tank. BUT!!! I had it rehydro'd at crossfire and had them replace that horrible 3A reg and put in a Crossfire reg. I got my tank back with the new Reg and a new laminated label from crossfire. i guess it means it passed.
I think the bottle is an SCI but not 100% sure now ever since reading this thread. Will check when Im home.
I should be safe correct?

If it is SCI it's fine.
