Dude, you know you want to wear an eyepatch. You could even get a graphic painted on your mask and everyone would call you pirate man, then it would be extra ironic when you somehow lose your leg in a freak accident.
But in seriousness, ouch. Glad to hear that your vision is steadily improving. Helluva long recovery time!

It's been getting better, but still no clear vision. I've pretty much got to the point where I don't notice it during usual daily routines. It still messes with my depth perception in some sports, and hurts after staring at a computer screen too long.
Also as my friend mokes pointed out, my internet access is pretty limited right now since I have to pay long distance to dial up... temporarily (hopefully high-speed soon).

Wow, I saw the pictures. That looks bad. I hope your eyesight returnes completely. I never look down my barrel unless the gass is disconnected and no paint is in the marker, mask or no mask. You can never be too careful.

I am glad you are doing better. I will print this out and keep it laminated on a clipboard when I ref I will make sure that people see what can happen. Like I said somewhere in this thread, feel free to use the pictures in any way that would benefit the safety of other paintballers. It was a really stupid (and tragic) accident, but it's a good thing if it can benefit others--and prevent the same problem.

Yea, i got hit in the hand off the field when no games were going.
I was somad at the guy!!!!!!
What if he hit my eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe this will change his mind about shooting before we play.

It's not just for noobs... I wasn't exactly a "noob" when this happened, but I got complacent/comfortable with my marker and didn't have my mind 100% on safety (or double-checking safety precautions).
