Hey guys ive been looking around and i was stuck between buying a used proto or shocker on ebay. But then one day i was looking and i came across alot of alias and atomix a-bombs. They look nice and sometimes you can find them for cheap . which one would be a better buy? considering the pros and cons

  • 2-piece alll-American barrel
  • dual-finger trigger
  • Steel-braided bottom line air feed
  • Max-flo regulator
  • Seal Forward Technology (SFT) to ensure the breech is closed before firing
PROTO
  • -Matching Proto Barrel
  • - Internal Modular LPR
  • - Hyper-2 in line regulator
  • - Revised Anti-Chop eye system
  • - An industry first, composite eyeplate
  • - Continuous 3 dimensional body design
  • - Compact ergonomicly designed milling
  • - Lightweight compact body
  • - Proto Matrix Sticky grip
  • - LED program control
  • - Ergonomic 45 grip frame
  • - Removable one peice FUSE bolt system
  • - Adjustable trigger sensitivity
ALIAS:

-Capable of firing 25 BPS,
-Shot Counter,
-Game Timer,
-Torpedo Regulator,
-Anti-chop eye,
-Custom Milling,
-300 PSI Gauge,
-Bob Long 2K4 Board
-weighs 1.4 pounds!!

i would go less with what adds say and more with how they shoot and experience. all will shoot great. in fact those three types of guns pretty much dominate the pro tourney scnene right now. about ROF, the timmy can shoot fastr than 25, when maxed out, and the shocker will do high twenties, and the proto will do probably mid twenties, so all are very fast. way faster than you can pull. however, you may be able to shoot one faster than the other. its all about preference. IMO in quality the quality the protos and timmies are better, but shockers are built tough. ive seen a guy get pissed and throw his shocker twenty yards. he picked it up later (huge scratches on body) and it fired perfectly. (ive acutaly heard stories of this happeneing multiple times). really itd all about feel (and how much you care about features and efficecny). shoot all of tehm and pick the one you like best and is most cost effective.

Well, to get a look at them and feel them i need to drive to toronto (45 minutes) then i will spend like 30 minutes there then drive back. I'm not sixteen so i cannot drive there myself, ill try to ask my mom but i doubt she would drive me around for 2 hours+. And also the fields in Toronto arent that great (SRGT. splatters) The feild is bad so i wouldnt stay adn play.

Preference. I may hit up the shocker these days... but an alias or proto both mow faces as well. Try shooting and getting your hands on each to see which you like the most.
