I have to agree with the previous two responses - it would help to know what it is that you are trying to achieve, and, if you lid is broken, they are cheap and easy to replace.
Once you have purchased your new lid, undo the screws that hold the two halves of the shell together. Separate the shells. The lid is sandwiched between the two halves of the shell, held in place by a pivot pin. Lift the old lid off the pin, and slide on the new lid, hooking on the spring as you go. Replace the second half of the shell and replace the screws.
If this still hasn't answered your question, please provide more information.
It's just like a battle zone, you got a bottle and you're on your own.
Gotta be a Scotch or a Kamikaze, none of those other weapons will faze me.
Hundred, hundred, hundred bottles on the wall, you wonder if you can drink them all.
Got to go home by 1am, the bottle wins the battle again.
