Angry I have a leak in my air tank..

Ok, I'm not sure if this is normal but i have a 4500 psi air tank and there is a leak coming from the vey top of the tank (My tank is not a screw that would screw into an asa) I'll take a picture of the tiny tiny hole that it is leaking from. The brand of the tank is "DYNAFLOW"

Just for kick's, Here's the inside of computer :p W00T

Very much an air system question, not a question related to WGP products.

By the way, you don't have a Carlton air system - Carlton make the bottle and nothing else. They have nothing to do with making the regulator or assembling the air system as a whole, they just make the regulator.

The picture is too blurry for me to stake any remaining reputation I have on it, but I'm 99.8% sure that that is a Centerflag regulator (and so a Centerflag air system).

For the leak to be occurring where it is, I believe that your reg piston o-ring most likely needs cleaning or replacing.

Moved.

If you can put up bigger pics that would really help. But that looks like the vent hole on what I'm assuming is a dynaflow reg. If that's the case I would think your reg seat is either warped from wear or there is an o-ring inside that needs replacing.

Unfortunatley i can not take a bigger picture becuase it is being taken by a webcam, my dad has the camera, but yes i'm sorry it is a dyna flow air system and it has center flag psi guages on it. ( If that means anything ) But how would i replace my piston O-Ring and where is my piston O-Ring located?

The piston o-ring is located on the piston.....

Unscrew the adjustment knob all the way, and you can the remove the piston spring, followed by the piston.

You do this after you vent all the air from your tank though so it's empty. Common sense really would dictate emptying it before working on any kind of air system.

After you remove the spring, look inside the end of the regulator and you will see the front of the piston. Just grab it with something (pair of needle nose pliers with the tips padded or a large pair of tweezers for instance), and then pull it out.

Ok, I took it out, There appears to be no damage to the piston or the o-Ring. Should i oil it? on the psi guage it says "USE NO OIL" Is it reffering to the guage itself or....? btw why you give me a infraction, cmon man! thats like the 3rd one, you dont like me or what?

No oil refers to the gauge, but you should never mix oil with HPA. A little Dow 33 should be fine for the piston o-ring.

As for the infraction, you used a word that is considered inappropriate here, and changed the spelling so that the profanity filter wouldn't remove it.

Dow 55 can cause o-rings to swell - it might help seal your leak, but it could also cause the regulator to react more slowly. I wouldn't use it personally.
