pm6 trouble

while shooting my pm6 on sunday. after the third shot, my gun starting firing on its on as if it were ramping without me even pulling the trigger. gun has all stock internals. took the bolt out and inspected all orings and found that the small oring inside the tophat was out of place. put it back in and lubed it a bit. gun was shooting perfectly after that. my question is what usually causes that, orings to come off? lack of lube or too much lube? thanks in advance for any help.

When that happens it usually caused by bad air settings. Whats your lpr and hyper set at?

i think youre right, now that i think about it i did turn down my hpr after i fixed the oring in the tophat. my lpr is at 4 turns out and my hpr is at 3 turns out. i havent been able to get to a chrono yet as i bought the marker about a month ago and the weather has been pretty awfull on the weekends.

Your LPR should be no more than 3 turns out. I know it says stock is 5 in the manual however if you talk to Dye you will find out this is incorrect. I have my LPR at 2 turns out, and it rocks.
