Anyone From the Bay Area Cali

Hey everyone, 1st timer on the boards and just wondering if anyone in the bay area wants to hit up the paintball field...just hit me up..later....

I'm from bay area, Danville. I'm new to the paintball scene too..and just starting to upgrade my gun before I hit the fields. I want to keep encounters with technical problems at a minimum.

I live next to San Jose and will remain here until mid September. I play at multiple fields...

I go to every field between Davis -> Hollister
Davis paintball, SCP, Bear Creek (the indoor), TAG, USPN

I've been hearing good things about the Milpitas Bear Creek, hopefully can check that out this weekend, if all my stuff gets here.

I'm shooting a Spyder E-99. I just bought it..first gun and I'm waiting for it. I just figured that it'd be better to learn with a cheaper kind of gun inside and out then move up the ladder once you have it down and then i'll know how to take care of a more expensive gun.

I'm around the San Ramon area and havent been to one field yet except at Travis AFB.

I remeber what waiting for my first paintball gun was like! Driving around looking for all UPS and FedEx trucks!!!

They have a paintball field at the Base?

Im in the South Bay, play at: Bear Creek, Venture Diablo, Paintball Jungle, Operation Paintball. Mostly woods, but some speedball too.
looking forward to checking out the new bear Creek Speedball place in milpitas

I want to go up to check out Venture Diablo, seems like a quality feild. Any thoughts?

Yeah, well I'm in the Air Force and my CO and a few other guys from other counties go to Travis AFB and use the urban combat simulation zone for paintballing. It has loads of buildings and little streets..and such..its just there to simulate urban warfare..lots of fun.

Hahaha..well seems like there are a lot of us here..lets set up a team =P I wouldnt mind..! That way I could learn a few things =)

Actually, Civilians are allowed as long as you know someone who is an Airman or military personnel =) which I am. Or you can go through security which takes a very long time..and get a day pass.

We play mostly at Travis AFB which is unbelievable. If you want I can post some pictures. TAW Paintball will be hosting a Travis game that is open to the public Nov 11. Other then the Nov 11 game you need a military person to sponsor you in. We plan day trips out of my store all the time. If you guys are local come on in and figure out when we are going to Travis next.

Other fields include Venture Games and Combat Zone. There is a large group of us going to Travis this Sunday.

hey i played paintball at the base field yesterday(sunday september 3) it was my first time playing so i just played speedball the whole time. (i was the 13 year old kid)

Anyone else going to the volunteer work day on sep 17th?

hey i live down here at fairfield, and play down at travis air force base... any of you beezeys can come down and hit me up if u wana get slaughtered... if any of yea noticed your playa's im the one in full camo and the mask that looks like it was finger painted with jungle camo make-up...

wasssup bay area.am new to the scene also.just went to paintball jungle last week and love it.am totally a scenario player.and were planning on going every sat until i get bored.
