Pimp, fo sho. Have you considered any other guns? Thats plenty of $ to get something better than a pimp or a nerve.

new storm is right. for your info when the NERVEs were still being made you could spend and extra $20 for a Q-lock and there you go. BAM its the same but for hundreds less. But for $1070 you can buy a dmc, dm5, 05 ego, timmie, used EGO's, DM6's, 06 Timmies.

I would consider buying a higher end gun than the discontinued NERVE and PIMP.

Ok here you go. Check these links for only one of many sick NEW packages.

The gun:
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Proto-Matrix...cm dZViewItem
$725

The tank:
http://cgi.ebay.com/PMI-Pure-Energy-...cm dZViewItem
$160

The loader:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SMOKE-HALO-B-w-R... cmdZViewItem
$85

Barrel of choice: $100.00

Sick *** BRAND NEW setup for $1070.00, PRICELESS!!!

Keep in mind this is what 10 minutes will find, and if you wouldnt mind used, the deals are even nicer/cheaper. Seriously, if you have that much to spend, dont get a Pimp, and for the love of god, dont get a nerve.

Better yet, get the pm6 off the PBNation NIB items forum for $625. Then get a HaloB, crossfire 68/45, and a v-force profiler. Add some pants, a jersey, and some paint to that and you're at your budget.

Or you could go the used route and get an ego, alias, or any one of countless other guns. Just shoot a bunch, decide what you like, and go from there.

the alien markers are really nice..and if you have something to hold you off for a while id even wait a few weeks..im gonna start my new marker fund really soon and think that the alien markers as well as the infinity legends are really nice looking markers for a fraction of what the others cost.

i would not suggest getting a nerve at all over a shocker, and whoever told that the nerve is better stock than the shocker, they no nothing about either of the guns, go and get a shocker($600), a tank($180), and a halo($100) which is $880, and then spend the extra $190 on ups for the shocker lik feedneck, bolt guide, and bolt

Forget both guns and look into aliens, pm6, 2k5, d2, fs-8, cyborg, quest, and shockers which will own the nerve.

The Nerve is not better than the Shocker. The Shocker is lighter, has less kick, and is more consistant out of the box. You will also see more people looking to buy Shockers than Nerves.

And isn't the nerve discontinued? It wasn't in SPs latest catalog.

I had the same exact question. never of pimp, in the end i decided to get the nerve, but i only have 600 for a new hopper, pack, and the gun. You have a bit more, probably should go for a more expensive gun, but if your set on those two my vote is torn but it'll have to go to the nerve since im buying that once i get this damn cast off. It really rips like all other high end guns and is truly not as heavy as some make it out to be. I played a few games before i gotthis cast on with it and it was INSANE, i just wish i could stay with my PMI customer service, but changes must be made. Good luck on your decision
