Get the virtue board and virtue qev exhaust and you willl be able to reach 25bps the virtue board is the most effective upgrade you can get.

If you're looking into an aftermarket board, the T-board would be your best choice. All the choices that Virtue has to offer, and more. Better customer support as well, Damon is great.

shouldn't buy an aftermarket board unless you've upgraded about 80% of your ion. the tboard is $80, and if you dont already have a bolt, feedneck, on/off, or barrel, you'd be better off spending the $80 on those, it'll give you more performance over a board.
unless your the type that likes to say "YEP ITS A TBOARD INSIDE"

Yeah, my biggest problem was the feedneck. I just bought a Q-lock and that is the best money I've spent so far. Another thing I hate is that it doesnt have a drop-forward. Thats my next upgrade.

Im getting a new cp reg for the ion. Does it matter if i get the shorty or the long one? Also does it matter if the reg has a slot for a gauge or not?

Length is preference. Doesn't matter if it has a guage port or not. The Ion's frame already has a guage port (and a guage) so you're better off getting the reg without.

hi
i have an ION
my first up grade was the barrel a stiffi 12"
its great
next i got a virtue board and that is so far my best upgrade
i also have a virtue QEV and a Virtue set of lazer eyes
in the near future (1 month) i am getting a orange unicorn bolt
and a new reg (cp)
i want a new feed neck and i am getting real pissed with the stock asa
so im a getting a new one as well
feeding my ion i have a halo B with the V35 board and i want to get a deleron cone as well as a gearing upgrade so i can feed faster they said the v35 would feed 35 BPS that B/S it only feed about 18 bps at max setting w/ a neophian batery pack
so the fastest i have had my ion shooting with paint is aboput 18 bps kinda ****ty for the ups i have in it
my goal is to have it hit at least 25 bps by the end of the year
look out for some videos once i find a camera
my ion will be the sleeper (looks as stock as possible but ripps the piss outa everythign alse)
c ya'll round

Ion, Woth It?
Yo,
I was just looking for some advice on my Ion. I noticed that the stock parts break A LOT, and was wondering if its worth it to spend a bunch upgrading, or to just save up and get a higher end marker? I dunno if all Ions break as much as mine, but all of my teammates who bought their's from the same store have also had troubles. While another buddy got his from a different strore, and has had no problems....Help please?

it depends, ive had trouble on mine, my friends has been flawless. Its worth getting it if your on a budget, and u can always make it better. id go for it, besides, many of the problems are user error. Just make sure u know what u are doing before you start, clean and lube after each day of play, and ur fine.

The gun I have in mind is about the same cost as tricking out my Ion, some people say the Ion shoots amazing when you upgrade.
Also, does a new breach and firing can do anything, or is it just pretty?
And, how do you get those pictures below your names, I've been trying to figure it out?

what gun are you considering?
a new breech is usually just to get a different color for show, but you can also get one that has different threading to allow for say, cocker barrel threads
firing cans dont do that much and are usually for show through cut through bodies
(it is said that they increase efficiency a little bit though)
for the picture, you need a 50 pixelx 50 pixel picture then go under account setup i think it is, or something like that and upload it (i think, not positive, havent done it yet)
