Wondering what to upgrade first on your Ion?

yeah i got performance first, then i started to make my gun look unique and very hot!!!! but i still yet have to get a qev. that will be it for my ion. then i can just say that it has no stock parts on it at all. not even the thread breech. or firing cap/donut. i could've gotten a shocker but i wanted my gun to be unique in stead of having to buy a shocker or something and not upgrade it at all. i love my baby, i'll probably sell it near the 2011. or something. i worked to hard on it to give it up so fast.

im about to get an ion i heard they were really good and i found a package on pntball.com that was awsome a 48/30 tank, 6+1 harnes, the gun, and a crapy loader and mask that i plan on selling as soon as i open the box and only for 290! but i dont kno what barell to get for it i dont kno where to look. ive used my spyder imagine for a while now and i gotten to love it but its time for a change cause i screwed the board tryin to install a trigger switch. so anyway im just thinkin what should i upgrade and were should i do it?

the stock barrel on the ion is ok, considering the powdercoat. the first upgrade i would get is a barrel and a clamp feedneck. when you start to rake in the money i would recommend getting a virtue board, the ramping mode is amazing and it is worth the money...

get a virtue board, it will turn an ion into0 a high performance gun, though it is $130 for one, they are the best thing you can put on an ION!

a tboard is just as good as the virtue board and cost less.

I was wondering which barrel you recomend more: The All American or Dye Ultralite for my ion.

I replaced my AA on my shocker with a ultralite. It was more because I got a pretty cheap price though.
I just say get it used.

what i put on my ion: cp regulater,cp on/off,shockteck drop forward,new desighns bolt,virtue eyes,board and qev,Q lock,contract killer grips,evil pipe kit, halo v35, and cp nitro 68/4500

get a new regulator so u'll get better air efficiency

Regulators don't affect efficiency, they affect consistency. All the regulator does is make sure your gun gets the right amount of pressure to operate and fire a ball at the same speed each time, it doesn't affect how much air your gun actually operates off of.

I just bought a brand new ion. Used 3 times. No Upgrades.

Please give me up advice of what I should get. i was thinking of getting a drop forward and a 16" barrel. but yeah give me some advice.

I think the first thing you should upgrade is a 360 QEV.
the second thing I would upgrade would be a new trigger, that stock one is horrible. Than i would say to upgrade the bolt, i think between the L7 and the firebolt, but i have heard to much wrong with the firebolt.

Dye hyper is probably your best way to go

If i were you i would defiantly get a QEV, then a barrel, then clamping neck. after those i would go for the drop forward, buy then you'll know what to buy.
