custom pro, and ill tell you why....
the only difference between the a5 and the pro is the hopper, and if you really want a cyclone, get one for about 60 of actionvillage, it makes your gun better than a stock a5, and cheaper.
and for the custom, well your getting a much better barrel, a drop, and a dbl trigger, all for $20. seems like a steal to me...

in that case, i good hopper would be needed, such as halos, egg 2, or reloader, chech official upgrades guide for more help on that though

dude, if u paintball like 1nce a week or more, GET THE A5!!!
i was a good paintballer, i was about 2 get cocker but then iread about tippmann a5's, the a5 is the best gun for the price!!!

but if ur beginning, get the 98 pro, u dont want a way god 1st gun, because you cant use it to ur advantage, my 1st gun was a VL tried, ROFL, worst gun ever!!! well it was accurate with the 14 in barrel, lol, i shot my friend in the elbow, he still got the scare for 2 yeras ago,

The a-5 isn't the best gun for the price. Now if you are looking to play speedball don't get a tippmann period. While you can be good with a tippmann and speedball it's just much easier to do things with a gun that is shorter and lighter. Now if you play woodsball and are going to do all kinds of weird stuff I recommend the custom pro becuase it has a few advantages over the 98 and it's only a little more expensive it will take a very good beating and will almost never crap out on you. I'd avoid the a-5 totally.
