It's just for looks/carrying.

It doesn't affect performance or how easily you can shoot at things.............

I guess it changes the balance of the marker just a fraction, and maybe that small change helps some people point their markers better?

Really though, it's just a carrying handle, and an aesthetic change (if you happen to like the look of a handle). It isn't intended as anything else.

Hah i like your theory.

Actually it serves as a reference point for your eyes, your brain matches that to the end of your barrel and thus you can aim more naturally without thinking about it.

Headshot.

If people are using it like a "rear sight", then yes, that would make a lot of sense. I was trying to think of a physical reason for the difference.

That's why I put 'rear sight' in quotation marks. The snatch grip obviously isn't an actual sight, but if it is being used to align the marker, then it is serving as one to some degree.

Your comment actually sounded very logical, even if it was made up!
