Alright, I felt that maybe a thread for all the guns would make things easier on the forum, less spam and more organized.

If this thread is a problem, I will close it. Just thought it would make things more organized!

PMR-Proto Matrix Rail

First off, The Proto Rail. The first lower-end Dye marker. Info from Dave Youngblood of DyePrecision:

"Will have a all aluminum body with 3D milling. Polymer co- molded frame with a co-molded trigger and clamp feed. It will come with a standard one piece Proto barrel. Set operating pressure is 140 psi with no on board LPR. All standard tournament programming modes are featured. Hyper 2 regulator is standard as well as a 3D milled ASA which is direct mounted. Retail price will be $399.95"

Second, The Dye Proto Matrix 7. The newest Proto Matrix marker to the lot. Still looking for more info such as weight.

DM7

Finally, the Dye Matrix 7. The newest of the Dye Matrix family. This will be the best of the family. The photo has been confirmed by a user on matrixowner.com forums who confirmed it with Dye. This is taken from Dave Youngblood of Dye Precision(Taken off Matrixowner.com Forums):

Great post.

I like how the Rail doesn't look "low-end", it looks very similar to its more expensive cousins. But I don't know about the plastic trigger and frame...

according to actionvillage the pm7 a 1/2 inch shorter and weights 3.5 oz lighter

I don't like the look of the trigger on the PMR. And it's still more expensive than the DP Fusion by $50. It's gonna be a close competition between the PMR, DP Fusion, Ivert Mini, and whatever the new SP gun is.

I'm assuming the pmr can be UL'd no?
That will be the only necessary upgrade along with the barrel.
I think my ion will be shelved once this comes out...........

the way the pmr is made (the body and the triggerframe) looks like it dosent work, but maybe thats just the picture.

if not some company will come out with an untralite like frame.

We just added the PM7 to our site as well. Looks like an awesome marker. The PM6 was great so I imagine the PM7s will be even better.
