tl-x or pilot acs

I am wanting to buy one of these guns but i don't know which one i want. People say that the pilot's grips suck, and then they say that the bolt on the tl-x scratches. I want the better gun. If I get dye stickys for the acs will they cover up the lcd screen?

The Pilot is for sure a better gun, but the grips do suck. This can be easily fixed by some $20-$25 (depends on where you get 'em) Dye Stickies. The Pilot doesn't have and LCD screen, but the screen it does have (I think it is LED) will get slightly covered up by the Dye Stickies from what I have heard. I plan on buying a set next soon for my Pilot.

The Pilot is definatly a better choice.

pilto hands down, the grips suck on every e-spyder, except maybe the Vs2, and dye stickies will not cover up the screen, and it is not LCD it is the CAMD screen which is LED backlit...

and between these two guns it is no competition, the pliot has ACS and the CAMD frame, the TL-X is mechanical and has a crappy bolt (like all stock mech spyders) plus they are probalby around the same price, if you buy the refurbished Pilot from firstcallpaintball.com for $80

Pilot. It's fast, and has ACS. Break in the bolt! Good buy, good buy...

If you want a pilot I think I have one that I could sell you (It hasant been used much at all - only 200 shots and I have never played a game with it) - It was chopping for a while but, all I had to do was break in the bolt. I also have a tl-x if you would want that. I would agree the pilot is deffinatley a better gun.

Are you a beginer or have you been around for a while. If you're NOT new to the sport of paintball, by far get the Pilot.

Even if you are new and plan on playing a lot, I recommend going for an electro gun right off the bat. I bought a Mech Spyder Rodeo when I first started. My first upgrade was a Electro frame. With the money I spend for both of those, I could have gotten a Spyder Pilot.

Get the Pilot. Bolt scratches are normal BTW. The grips do suck, but you could just wrap them in duct tape for a temporary fix. You really don't need the LED lights since there's four modes and they're easy enough to tell which one you're in. Plus if you play at fields you can only use semi so you don't need to change modes.

Going with the electro frame is a good idea unless you are going to be playing all woodsball and are planning on crawling through mud and runing through rivers. What I have now is my first setup and I am really glad I started with an electronic gun unlike almost all of my other friends who started with mechs.

get the pilot for sure, the acs bolt works, and as long as you put a new barrel on it you'll be fine

Well if you're playing in a wet area as long as you're not submurging the gun in water you'll be ok. I sometimes play in a place that's right next to the river and it partilly floods.

And don't be takin' my sig foo!
