Stingray velocity

Ok, I just picked up a Stingray for nothing but memories and to make a cheap sniper out of it. However, I can't seem to get the velocity up. I have a longer barrel, 14 inch, and the velocity screw is completely out. Full tank, no seal/o-ring leaks, velocity at max and no go. Am I out of luck?

You might need to give it a thorough cleaning and may have to replace some springs. Your tallking about a marker that could be close to 10 (daresay 15) years old and springs may be worn out.

Oh duh, I totally didn't think about the spring. Yeah, that could be an easy fix to the velocity. See, I haven't touched one of these guns in over 5 years, so that was overlooked easily. Thanks!
