Arrow Tippmann at 20bps

My 98 custom at 20bps. Only had 600psi left in my 45ci tank so i ran a little low on the air, and had a little shootdown. I think it was good accuracy altho 80% of the balls missed the target, i got a pretty good grouping. And yes this thing kicks like a beast.

A goldwave will be appreciated.

Enjoy, and leave a comment

sounded like he got to like 10 bps and then ran out of air ... that usually makes a stock tippmann sound like it's going 15 bps, and at the end of an e-gripped ramp i think it was a little less then 20

Just because PBN likes it, doesn't make it good.

I set my Rampage board to 20bps, held the trigger along with the video. It sounded pretty close to me.

Looks pretty good to me, although i question why the hell you'd ever need to shoot that much that fast...but good job anyway!

Yea it sounded pretty close to me too. I can't be sure but it was darn close. You should take it some where and get it chrono tested to get the exact bps rate. I liked the video though!

I'll put 5 e-cookies that you'll either start chopping, or skipping shots.

I think it might start chopping. You start cycling a bolt that fast with that side feed like that and you could very well start to chop. And if you say your gun has never chopped that's fine but you will start skipping shots. So if you are going to skip shots then it's not really 25 bps is it? So I wouldn't recommend trying to go any faster. Your definately wearing down your bolt and sear right now too so be prepared to replace that. That is a common problem with Tippmann 98 Customs / Custom Pros.

Even with his V35'd HALO B, there's a chance it'll double feed, maybe. But either way, I beleive you'll break paint one way or another.

Fast enough for me. I'd say it's at 20bps - or very close to it.
