Sounds like the problems I was having, it's the firing point activation screw more than anything.

I was trying to do everything board-side, cranking bounce to 5 and delay to 40 (stock is 2 and 10), but no bones... I did a few adjustments on the trigger, but still wasn't fully there.
I finally admitted defeat and took it to the shop after adjusting the trigger a bit. They adjusted the firing point activation screw in a bit more so it was pressing the switch sooner and lessened the grab of the magnet a bit for smoothness. I guess they didn't look at the board settings, because it's still at 5 and 40, I'll see if I can turn those down later.

Anyway, here's a closeup of my trigger in case you want an idea of how far in/out I have my screws: http://home.comcast.net/~jjmilmore/M...st_trigger.jpg (3068x1652, 2.6 MB)

Turns out my Quest wasn't bouncing... it was just in ramp.
Who makes the LED for firing mode orange anyway? Come on! Everybody else is white.
And yes, I was very lazy in figuring this out on the Quest, I have many others guns that I work on before I go to my 'dusty guns'.

Actually, there's close to 10 different manuals for the original - original manual, updated manual, inoviq manual, WAS manual, Hater manual, lucky ace manual, virtue, APE, and several more. As for chip boards, there's 2 by inoviq, which can have 4 different chips.

Did they decide on just one board for the new one? It would make things less confusing!

Wow I wish I could find a Quest for under 400. I can only find one place selling (other than direct from FEP), and they are selling for 450. Love quests, hate being poor.
