Upgrade time!

I shoot a Spyder Fenix on CO2, with a Ricochet Rhino loader.

I found a dude on Kijiji selling a Pure Energy 68/4500 tank for $160, no scratches.

He's also selling a Reload B with new shells for $55.

These seem like good deals, and I'm thinking I may try to talk him down to $200 for both.

I think this is the best way to go, rather than upgrading my gun to something high-end and not being able to shoot it.

Thoughts?

Yes, this is the way to go. If you get the HPA tank and loader you will be able to use them on any gun you might purchase in the future. If a year from now you've got some cash and you want an SLG or whatever you'll already have a tank and loader to use. If you've still got your Spyder, at least you've got a good tank and loader to use. It's a win-win.

Where can I get a new tank for $160?

This is in Canadian dollars, the cheapest I can get locally is a a Crossfire 68/4500 for $199, and that's at a shop so that doesn't include tax.

Total for that tank with tax -- About $230.

All the new tanks I'm finding on eBay are around $160, but they all include like $30-$40 shipping

Oh, and this tank literally just got hydro'd yesterday, so that's one other thing to consider.
