i have THE worst luck with pb guns...
So, I finally got a chance to shoot my SP-1 today after i put all my new goodies on it (q-loader, J&J, Car-stock) and at first it was shooting fine, the the problems began to occur. About every couple shots it would make a short hiss sound on the trigger pull, then it would shoot on the next one. Then it began doing this every other shot. Then it got to the point where it would make that beep noise on the first pull (which I'm used to after owning a Spyder MR-2) and the hiss would get a little louder on each pull then shoot. So I stripped it completely down, examined everything, and it looked right, reapplied the sl33k to the bolt, aired it up again, and the problem continued. Now it's got to the point where the bolt won't move at all, which makes things difficult because the system still has air in it, and there's no way to take the gun completely apart. I'm stuck because i have no idea what i'm doing inside of a SP, and it seems strange that i would do this after only the second time i shot it.
thanks
nick

Try a different battery and if that doesn't work try resetting the the pressure over a chrono.

reg creep possibly... causing the bolt to stick.
Or possibly a problem with one of the microlines inside.

Did you make sure that the board is set for the right kind of gas?
the Vibe and SP1 have to be set to the right gas.
To do this you must disconnect your battery
Press the on/off button (keep it depressed) then touch the battery contacts to the battery connector. The LED will flash either once or twice. I cannot remember which flash sequence means HPA or CO2 but it should be in your manual. To save the settings you remove the battery from the contacts and stop pushing on the on/off button then you connect the battery.

I think it's 1 blink CO2 2 blinks HPA. And i don't think it really matter which setting if you're using HPA.

it might... im sure it controls the dwell and timing of the gun. If running on HPA but on co2 setting, it may be holding the gun back... just a thought

from what I was taught the marker will not function properly if the wrong gas is used.

I've had this very same thing happen to me, only it happened all at once, first time out was perfect, next time, it wouldn't fire. took it to a SP dealer and they said they had to replace all the o-rings in the reg... I'm sending the bill to SP cause there is no reason it should break so soon...

Where do you live? I'm guessing outside the US since it's only like maybe $10 give or take to ship a gun. But basically no company will pay your repair bill.

you could just name the country, instead of making us go look.
