When people come to SLU I tell them it's fairly safe. As long as you don't go north, south, east, or west of campus.

Clemson is about as safe of a campus as you'll find. We have little emergency phones every 10 feet or so. I think the people in charge forgot that we live in the middle of a forest and some cattle fields.

Somewhat. I found that the main street area of downtown greenville was fine, but if you stray too far from that area it's mostly bad neighborhoods, or at least that's the case on the north and west sides of the city. ATL is more mixed up, although there are certain general rules. The north tends to be better than south, most of the east side is bad except certain pockets like East ATL Village, Little Five Points, and parts of Grant Park. Actually now that I think of it the east side is the perfect example of how interspersed the bad areas are with the good. Although even the nice parts are marred. Several of the mansions in Inman Park used to be gang headquarters because they were owned by big-time drug dealers until they got arrested.

Aww, my roommates got me a collapsible steel baton. Can you say force multiplier?
Definitely looks a lot better in a combat boot than a boot knife.

I used to play Rugby in High School, shorts double stitched jerseys and steel tipped cleats, now that;s a manly sport.

Well, my life just turned from awesome to really, really stupid in one night... I have bed bugs... Yes that is right. I kinda suspected it for a month or so, but I finally started digging around my room and I pretty much confirmed it. Found alot of them and some eggs and stuff, so I am kinda pissed off right now.
I am a clean person and all and I do my laundry and I don't travel so I don't know how I got them. Gonna call the landlord tomorrow and hopefully get it taken care of.

^maybe your gf brought them over with her? I hear she practically has an ant farm in her pants.
A-5, rugby will get you in shape. Say hi to the suicides for me, and here's hoping you don't get cleated too much. I played a little in college and it's rough but a lot of fun. I played for a bit and then quit before anything serious happened, since virtually everyone gets injured at some point from it. And the uniforms are way more comfy than football, bashing each other up without pads ftw.
Plus the words "scrum" and "ruck" are immensely satisfying to say.

Yeah buddy. I love it. Was at church and missed the last part of the game. When I left it was 24 to zip. Brady just can't hack it these days.
The green bay v. cardinals game was awesome. I saw the highlights when I got home and decided it was worth hopping on the computer to watch a rerun. Man that was a good game. 51-45 in overtime with the cardinals taking a fumble straight to the house. Doesn't get much better than that.
On another football note, I sure hope that the vikings lose big time next week. If I hear one more thing about Brett Favres greatness I am going to become the first terrorist ever to target Minnesota. Seriously, shouldn't he be golfing or working as a Wal-Mart greeter by now?

i guess you could look at the green bay - arizona game as a good game. personally i think just about every defensive back that walked onto the field for either team should take up tennis or something cuz they sucked at football last night. not hard to score so many points when your recievers are wide open play after play. was entertaining though. and neil rackers better be buying michael adams and karlos dansby a nice lobster dinner.
as for brett favre, ive talked more trash about him and im equally sick of the brett favre hype, but to be fair he is playing arguably the best football of his career. imo leave it all on the field this season and then walk away while he is on top.
and if you decide to bomb the vikings locker room make sure jared allen isnt there at the time, cuz he is my hero.
