We've had like 2.0 earthquakes that you never really feel. 5.8 is supposed to be a 100yr deal and the worst since 1944. And now a huge hurricane, also supposed to be like a 100yr deal and also supposed to be the worst since 1944. Probably going to lose power for a while and a lot of roads will be flooded, but shouldn't have any flooding problems by my house.

Update: Hurricane Irene has set a record for the most boring natural disaster of all time. It's moved a little further off the coast, which might be bad for people up north, but in the MD/DC area it's just been raining for like 8 hours. Almost no wind at all.

So here I am talking with my better half, sharing a bottle of wine, and we both start getting all reminiscent of the good ol' days when we were in High School. I started telling her about how much I was into pb, and then like the floodgates were let loose... I remembered all the times on PBR.

What happened guys? I remember when OT was the place to be. Now it just looks like all the old stickies are still around. Any "old timers" left?

Or better yet, anyone still remember some of the PBR crowning achievements? Like:

-the Cat/toast science experiments with xtremesniper and f2f4?
-the nerf wars?

buddy, you remind me man that this place used to really annoy me with its cults.

I just come here to **** around, and then there were these groups. If I didn't kiss their asses, and play with their humor I was then treated like an outcast.

I say screw those guys they ruined this place, and then left it after kissing the mod's asses the whole time.

I still feel like I'm inside of a military zone, because of all the rules, and soccer mommy's mentality.

I got like 5 infractions so that's why I left here, but since when has the pen really ever been mightier than thee sword? I love when I get to see people let it out.

wow, had no idea I was about to be judged so hard by asking a few questions. Maybe you should as some questions yourself before jumping to such hard conclusions, but thanks for the warm welcome anyway.

As for myself I wasn't a part of your so called "groups," I was just buds with a majority of the people that happened to be in them. And as for your feeling like an outcast, maybe you just cared a bit too much about what they had to say. PBR OT was just a place to hang out and post fun stuff and have fun discussions. If you had an issue in one thread you move to the next one or better yet, created your own. This isn't (or wasn't) reddit, so you couldn't get downvoted, your thread just got bumped down as people posted more and more stuff.

But the thing that really kind of makes me wonder is why you feel like you're in your "military zone"? Maybe you have a problem with authority since you:

A: Refer to it as kissing ***, even though I clearly remember it as people acknowledging and respecting the Mods and their posts. Or...

B: Getting 5 infractions. In my heyday and posting a TON (prior to this account and including the old account before deleting it with Mod approval,) I didn't even get a single infraction. Perhaps maybe you felt confined because you didn't want to follow rules. Or perhaps you were being an abrasive dick to everyone else.

Either way, past is the past, and we're different people now then who we were back then.

Spent the weekend riding with my cuz. After adjusting to the slight bump in power, he seems to do much better on the 90 than he did on the 50. Made a couple of baby jumps for him to go over, suprisingly he managed to get both wheels off the ground a couple times. And by the end of the day was showing me up hitting them no-footed.
