Maybe, just maybe. People like the ninja over the CBR, GSXR, or R Series. And a Ducati is just way out of range.

Took my grandpa's honda gold wing trike out for a spin today. Beautiful day to ride although it was a little hot. This thing rides incredibly smooth and will get up and go if I need it to, and it even has a radio. It was nice to finally get out and ride again after being out of the loop from riding and racing motocross for about 2 years now. I figure I've been riding for 12 years, no reason to stop now. Later on this year I'll probably buy me a street bike so I can have something to do on saturdays when I'm not shooting.

You guys should make an awesome video about the bike and you guys, and youtube it.

For my birthday ^_^

For your birthday I'll do something awesome. Like a video of me doing a barrel roll while screaming your names.

1980 Yamaha 850

I just finished getting mine in running condition today. The guy I bought it from seemed to think that bikes maintained themselves. After changing all the fluids and tightening the cam chain ( I didn't know a loose one would make the engine sound like it was about to blow up.), it runs like a champ. Very smooth and quit, and the price was right. Super low miles and came with another bike of the same model that had been wrecked with only a few miles on it. So I have the full bike, and every part for it except the frame and front fork.

And still my favorite, 1982 Honda CX Custom

Cam chain? How very odd. then again my cam gears just sit in a cover on the right side of my bike, waiting to fall out on their precious lobes when someone opens the cam chest.

That takes a little thing called money, which I don't want to spend on a kick stand. It works fine.

You do understand that cruisers are black holes that one casts their money into periodically, right?

If you're not satisfied with how it is of course. I'm happy with the bike the way it is and thats why I bought it. My dad is going in the next 3 weeks to buy a kawasaki vulcan 2000 to ride with me, and thats why I wanted the bike. We're gonna do a lot of long distance trips. I could have gone with other bikes, the kawasaki had all that I wanted. Everything on it works as it should and I intend to keep it that way. Maybe once I get it broken in and the warranty is up I'll throw on some vance and hines and a K&N but for right now it runs great, rides great, and sounds pretty good for having the baffles in.

Apparently, that is a cam chain and it needs tightened periodically. It sounds bad when it is loose.

Anybody know what would make a 1973 350 Bighorn (same bike John Denver rode) not idle correctly? A guy I know is selling his cus it's not idling right and he doesn't want to mess with it.
