co2 adapter problems

just got my new sp1, when you screw in the tank air rushes out of the bottom of the co2 adapter, although when i tried using a tank with very little air it worked fine though i only got like 50 shots b4 the tank was completely empty any suggestions please by the way i am new to the forum

try replacing the tank oring. the one on there might be bad.

Yeah a new o-ring should do the trick. If not then the airline might not be on right or the ASA is just messed up.

changed the oring but when i put a tank thats low on co2 it shoots fine no leaks but with a tank thats full it leaks out the asa hole really fast tried 3 or 4 different tanks 2

what kind of asa do you have on there? If it has a plug for a gauge on it, that could be leaking.

its the stock asa on it and its leaking out of the little hole in the bottom of it and when i say leaking you see and hear it flooding out

what hole on the bottom of the ASA? you mean the screw hole? or do you mean the regulator, if its the reg... you need to turn the velocity WAY down before you air it up for the first time... or you'll blow the reg, if you already turned it down, than it could be the relief valve

There's a small bleed hole on the ASA.

its the part that the co2 tank/compressed air screws into that sits on the butt of the trigger then the airline hooks to it and runs the the velocity adjuster and such

Is the tanks valve in good condition?

oh... wow, i didnt even know that was there, shows how observant i am... but looking at that i can only conclude that you need to replace the o-rings... that is the only possible reason i can think for that to happen

yea we had 2 tanks that are doing this both aren't that old maybe a few weeks then the 2 tanks that were low didn't leak like the full ones are leaking

Try the tanks on a different ASA and if they work then there's just something wrong w/ the stock ASA maybe

work fine on my buddys mr2 and his brothers spyder aggressor so i don't know

Then i'd say it's the ASA for some reason.

thanks i'll check at the local paintball store tomorrow and see if they have/can't get one for me
