I agree wholeheartedly. The Which gun should I get post is almost as annoying as the which barrel is best in the barrels and paint forum. It wouldnt be so bad if someone came and asked the diferences but when it's every other post it just gets annoying. Don't people look at The other posts before starting one with the exact same thread name?

When I decided to go electro I did pretty much the same thing as when I upgraded from my Stingray. Research-- I visited the manufacturers websight to get the Lowdown. Then I looked at reviews to find out about any problems or anything else that might be of conciquence. I went to my Pro shop to Feel the gun and see if this is something i like or could get used to. then back to the web to check prices and Order..

When I ordered my Timmy I had tead the Instructions online quite a few times before I even recieved it. So when I got it I knew Exactly how it worked how to fieldstrip it and any other pertinant information.

People Are just lazy. And sadly they believe what someone else tells them.

Hey Jumbo, I think we should get everyone on here to anser the "Which gun should I get" questions with "Stingray IIs" and convince them a Stingray II is THE gun to get. In fact, buy ten of them from Wal-Mart instead of an IR3.
And then everyone could answer "Which barrel" with "Did you know PVC pipe makes a really nice barrel if you scuff the inside with sandpaper?"

Get an E-mag Extreme for about the same price as an Ir3. Same weight too.

This is my point -------> (point here) (fig 1.1)

This is your head -------> (fig 1.2)

As we can see, the point, illustrated in fig 1.1, is clearly over your head, as illustrated in fig 1.2.

I don´t blame you for getting tired of answering dumb questions from lazy people, but we are not all bad.
since I found this site I have been researching the hell out of the black dragun, and now my new choice, the impulse.
I want to know exactly what i´m getting into when I plunk down my cash.
I would like to thank the people responsible for this great site, so I have the ability to make an informed choice on any paintball equipment I may need

if some people just don´t get it that is their loss

I'm not blaming people who ask that, I'm blaming the people who don't even bother to put a little research behind the questions they're asking.
I can understand someone sitting down and saying

"here's what I know about XXX and YYY based on what i've researched, I've considered this, and this and this, and I have some idea of what I want....the last thing I need is owner testimoney and reccomendations on based on THIS style of play I like, and THESE qualities."

What I'm sick of is "I have $1000, should I get a high end cocker or Angel".

There's no background information on what the user wants from a gun, what he plays, how he plays, why he narrowed it down to two markers, if he's open to other suggestions, what equipment he currently has, if he wants to upgrade or buy stock....and so on and he wants us to pick how to spend $1000 of his money.
Even WORSE is the person who says "Do my shopping for me...pick out what I want and WHERE I can get it cheapest" I can MAYBE see "Where's the best place to buy a 2002 Vert feed stock cocker" but I cannot see "I want this and this and this and this and this and this mask....what combination of 2000 pball sites with shipping factored in will save me the most?" It's a nighmare when I order my own gear because I do that for myself, to ask someone else to do it is ludicris.
Even worse STILL is the person that somehow has the gall to do BOTH!

THOSE are the I'm writing this for.

Hey Ebon I have an Idea....How about you guys make a gun A vs Gun B Forum. And make this forum general......

This way anyone with gun a vs gun b vs gun c can it there. And move all posts to that forum. similar to the thread that Mack Daddy has in the Kingman forum.

It's an Idea.
