CT ~ T.A.C. 25th anniversary
if you wanna see old-school on the field, Tactical Assault Command is celebrating their Silver Anniversary up here in CT.
Trust me, these guys are dusting off the old stuff to bring out for one more day of play after decades of lying unused but not forgotten.
This is cut-and-paste from the public forums:
TAC 25th Anniversary Spring Stock-Class Game
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Calling all stock-class players...
Tactical Assault Command (TAC) is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, and are planning two big stock-class games - one in the Spring and one in the Fall.
Back in "the good old days", it would be considered average to see 80 or more players on the field on any given weekend. While we don't miss the oil-based paint that sold for $2 per metal tube, or operating the side bolt on our old Nelspots, we do miss playing in those really big games. We're hoping you'll join us to make this the biggest stock-class game since the mid-80's, as well as help us relive the fun, honor and challenge of stock-class play.
The Spring game will be held at Extreme Paintball in Waterbury, CT on Saturday, May 21st, 2011. I've been in contact with the field owner, and he is excited to host the event.
Here are the preliminary details...
• Entry fee is $20 per player
• Bring your own stock-class gun, 12 grams and empty tubes
• Stock-class rental guns will NOT be available, but goggles will be
• Premium field paint will be sold at a discounted rate of $63.60 per case of 2,000 (tax is included)
• Reservations with deposit are required
• Stock-class gun and parts swap meet
• Raffle
• T-shirts
• Rain date: Sunday, May 22nd, 2011. Note that we will play if the forecast is only calling for a light, intermittent drizzle, or a brief passing shower, but will be postponed if the forecast is calling for steady rain for all/most of the day. We will make the call by 4pm or 5pm on Friday, May 20th.

For anyone who is interested in overnight camping we are looking into sites at the nearby Black Rock State Park in Watertown, CT. (22 minutes north on Rt. 8), or Kettletown State Park in Southbury, CT. (30 minutes south off of Rt. 84).
Stay tuned for more details...
Note that our definition of a stock-class gun is the universally accepted definition - any pump-action marker which utilizes a horizontally mounted feed tube, and is powered by 12-gram CO2s, (i.e. Nelspots, PGPs, S/C Phantoms, Grey Ghosts, etc.). Auto-triggers are OK. Open-class pumps with CA/HPA tanks and/or direct feeds will not be allowed - absolutely no exceptions.
OK, so whose in?
