The Ion is a basic electro-pneumatic high-end, so its the low-end of the high end class. The VS2 is a alsmot fully upped blow back which is the high-end of the low-end class. Pick one.

A ion will have more to offer down the road. I'd held a vs2 and liked it but the frame really had a uncomfortable feel to me. The reg and eye logic might also be better on the ion but i'm not really sure. Of the two i'd get the ion or drop another $20 and get a lasoya promaster.

...learn your stuff before you speak. The general marker forums are the only place that Vs. threads are allowed.

Why though?
I say VS2 over the VS3 since the VS2 has a normal trigger and it doesn't have the crappy barrel shroud restricting you to certain barrels.

I would say VS series over the Ion so you don't have the same gun as everybody else, but from what I have heard, saving up a bit more money for a Laysoya Promaster sounds like the best idea.

Unless its a subject that has been done 10,00 times, gets out of hand, or annoys the heck out of the moderator.
It is true however, that this thread can be left open in this fourm, and so it shall unless it causes problems.
The Ion is so simple I would take it over any of those designs if I was not technical, it only has one moving part, 2 if you count the noid, and 3 if you count the trigger.

Well if he hasn't gotten the LP yet then the deal is pretty much over. JC really the vs2 can not compare to an ion deal w/ it.
