the good old shoot-fall back-shoot-fall back tech. works 4 me at least in woods ball ... o yea and let there point man get realy close then shoot him out and run back into another position and repeat have to be wearing camo though... considering there is no such thing as a sniper in paintball!!!

LOL when you throw stuff, the only thing that happens is-
1) They see where the stick came from
2) They shoot you when you are occupied with the stick.
The best thing to do with a team in woodsball is to have a "strong side" of the field or area. Then if you get in a firefight, you have an advantage of numbers. If your team seperates, you will only get picked off one by one, and you might end up shooting your own people.
BASICALLY DO THE SENSIBLE THING. Don't do any Hollywood movie stunts, just shoot the other team. Not saying that using special tactics is wrong, but i mean, throwing sticks? Hahaha

dont take positios where you can be attacked from both sides like my freind did. He blamed it on me for not covering him. When i saw this happen i retreated this is another great tactic just retreat when things get ugly.

Or play balls to the wall style, you'll be surprised at what you do instead of retreating.

RUSH!!! get as close as fast as you can. this is what always works for me. then work your way around the the outside. i get at least 3 people out a game. also, the most important thing is to not be afraid to get shot... fear of being shot is about the number one paintball hinderence (thing that holds people back) of the game

i always liked having a two man team with one person more out in the open and you stay hidden
the overt person attracts attention and eventially you get a crazy nice angle on the other team and take them out before they know what hit em

I was playing a woodsball scenario, and I was taking cover behind a bush with 2 teammates. They felt overwhelmed and dropped back, but I got low and held my position. As a couple of opponents chased after them, I made my presence known with a volley of paint from about 15 feet away.
Also, same scenario, a friend and I were in a small skirmish, but our opponents had left to rejoin their team in a larger one. After we'd made sure the area was clear of opponents, we stayed hidden, taking out any opponent who traveled past. Between the 2 of us, we got 3 or 4 of them, then we got overrun by a group of like 8.

we play rec/woodsball and a great strategy on our field is to let them get in the trench in the middle of the field then get them in a Pincer.

tactic number one: position your friend triple P (paul patrick pitman) in a small hole and tell him that todd always comes this way eventually. meanwhile, get in position behind the nearby tangle tree because you know that todd really comes from behind. always. while Triple P is getting lit up by an AT-85 in his hole, rush at todd with your stingray and pop him in the butt cheeks.
