Where to find QEV and Adapter

I have a REX rx and was wondering where i could find a QEV and an adapter?

an RX should be able to take a palmer's QEV straight with no adapter
although when I tried using a QEV on my O2 (same gun) it released to much air making me raise my lpr pressure a lot to get the same fps, I chucked it

find a ram cap from an older RPM, they have a QEV in the cap (under another cap - it's a 2 piece cap) ... and will swap right in ... you just have to make sure it's from the early RPM's as the newer ones aren't pin retained.
At most I heard a QEV only really gets you and extra cycle or two ... adding the QEV on my Rex didn't make any spectacular difference, so I'm just gonna put it on my FASOR'd Victor to get some use out of it.

the qev itself wouldnt be hard to find at all. any paintball shop (storefront, or online) should carry them, and they are all over ebay.
the adapter itself will be a real chore, the one place I knew of, doesnt sell them anymore.

And like TESballer said, you're not gonna get much speed increase out of it, if anything at all. You'd have a better chance of increasing your cycle rate, by decreasing the weight of your ram. In other words, having some of the metal taken off of it, since I dunno of any aftermarket rams for these guns.
As well as a lot of people have complained about their gun being (even more) inefficient, with the qev attached. I said what I said in the quotes because the fasor design, isnt all that air effient in comparison to other types of EP markers.

And I dont mean to imply that you want your gun to be blindingly fast. But one of the biggest limitations on speed of this gun, is their EP solenoid. At it's absolute best.....their 'noid can cycle about 20-25 cps TOPS.

Insane Pain makes delrin rams...if you go into the company representation thread sticky, you can find their site. However, FASORs are more efficient than spool valves, and actually aren't all that bad compared to Ram and Poppet

I've read it doesn't need a qev because the noid vents it on the rex rx.
