Paintball Safety, July 2006: The Bee's Knees in Paintball Equipment

When choosing paintball equipment, your safety equipment is of the utmost importance. An impact to the knee, or pressure on the knee from contact with hard ground, rocks, and/or other hard objects, can cause a knee injury. Wear kneepads to help prevent impact injuries, bruising, and general wear on the knee.

Play with kneepads...for safety! You will kneel, crawl, slide, bump, and/or fall on your knees when you play paintball. An impact to the knee, or pressure on the knee from contact with hard ground, rocks, and/or other hard objects, can cause a knee injury. Wear kneepads to help prevent impact injuries, bruising, and general wear on the knee.

Try either basic kneepads, or, better yet, the more-protection combination knee-and-shinguard padding units designed for paintball. Kneepads need to stay in place, so size them before you buy-and keep those kneepads in place with hockey tape (that white, cloth-like tape).
