NPL. Norway's largest, the Norwegian Paintball League (NPL), opened April 29-30, 2006. Reporter Johnny Bakke of Flekkefjord, Norway, invites all players to visit the NPL site, www.npl.no.

VPL. Vengeance Paintball Distributors' South Eastern NPPL Feeder Circuit series is hosted with XO Industries and its network associates Ground Zero Paintball, Paintball Depot, Vengeance Tampa, Sobe Paintball, Guerrilla Air, Pro Paintball Supply, and the NPPL. Series manager is Steve Davidson, an NPPL founder and former NPPL league secretary. In a press release, Davidson stated, "In 1992, I contacted the game's greatest professional teams and together we created the world's first professional paintball league. From 1992 until 1996 I and many others worked with and for NPPL, trying to build and foster a competition league that would be for the teams and the players. Now that NPPL is once again a player's league under the leadership of Chuck Hendsch, its general manager Shawn Walker and the Pure Promotions crowd, I am very excited and pleased to once again be working with and for such a great organization." The VPL is BYOP, divisional play. For more information call 386.437.7220 or visit www.vengeancepaint balldistributors.com/vpl.
