On September 9, 2006 during the North vs. South scenario game hosted by Pyro Paintball productions, Elmer NJ, the 13th Legionnaires held their first Alex's Lemonade stand.
Thanks to the friends and family we have made in the scenario community over $300 was raised for this worthy charity. Started in 2000 by 4 year old Alex Scott all donations go towards fighting pediatric cancer. Even after her passing, in 2004 her legacy continues with a nationwide campaign to raise funds to fight this terrible disease, to date raising over 5 million dollars.
We would like to thank all the players and vendors for their generous contributions to the Alex's lemonade stand foundation. A special thanks to the E-Jam Red Raiders who arrived before game time to toast all in attendance and made a very bighearted contribution as well as Christine McKnight, Deb and Emily Cancelmo who staffed the stand throughout the day.
