| The Air Tipps rear velocity adjuster is an excellent add-on to any Model 98. The new end cap uses an adjuster screw to change the drive spring tension for adjusting velocity. Using the 5/32 allen wrench that came with your gun you can easily adjust the velocity to the speed you are looking for and at the same time achieve maximum CO2 efficeincy. The adjuster screw is then covered by a cap that carries an extra tank O-ring for those emergecy situations. kit includes; end cap replacement with velocity adjuster, steel set-screw, and spare tank o-ring. |

 |
| Strengths: |
- Its got a nice shape to it, visually appealing, unlike some of the RVA's out for the M98
-Low Profile, doesn't stick out the back of your gun that much
-All aluminum construction, non-corrosive materials, flat black finish
-Storage for an extra tank o-ring in the end cap
-Wide range of adjustment, more so than any other RVA on the market
-includes SS set crew with a nylon patch that doesn't back out
-furnished with a Buna o-ring, it doesn't spin the slightest bit
-only $24 for a great add on to any M98 |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
-you still have to use Allen keys to change the velocity, but that keeps it tourney legal without the use of extra set screws.
Can't think of anything else |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Overall, this is a great product, another hit from AirTipps. It is a great add on to any M98. By using spring tension to control velocity, you have better control over the velocity, as well as gas usage, allowing you to increase efficiency. It has a LOT of adjustment to it, I was able to play in below freezing weather in conjunction with my stabilizer. There is nothing that would ever prevent me from buying another RVA over this if I had to make the choice again. It has both functionality and style, making it a winner in my book. The AirTipps RVA is a great quality product that will improve performance of anyone's marker. |

It does its job, makes chronoing much easier |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Didn't fit, had to use a grinder |
 |
| Review: |
Well, I purchased the RVA, because I didn't like using the stock VA. So, I strip my gun to put it in and the fun begins. It is ever so slightly larger than the stock endcap. After screwing my two halves back together (I had to force it more than I wanted) I noted a slight gap between my recievers. I had to take the gun apart again and had a hell of a time getting the RVA out. After I finally get that off I start to sand the grooves that it sits in. I put it back together again and it fits. It is still VERY tight, but atleast the gun no longer has the same gaps as before.
UPDATE
Used a grinder and some sandpaper to make the diameter of this smaller. Now it fits on without seperating my shells. I just need to get to a chrono now to check.
|
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is a great upgrade if you want it. It isn't going to really help anything other than give you an easier time at the chrono. I guess go for it if you got the money to spare.
I'm giving it a 6 since it didn't just drop in like I hoped. I felt I shouldn't have had to use a grinder on it. If you have access to a grinder or a dremel, go for it. |

| Review: |
This is a great way on change the velocity without using the allen wrench. The only problem is once I have it at the right spot it tends on moving, then I have to adjust it again. Installing the rear velocity is a snap, it doesn't take that long to install. |

| Conclusion: |
This is another great product of tippmann. Buy it you wont regret it. |
