These regs have one of the oddest followings in paintball. Many people swear by these regulators and won't use anything else. I've had the privelage to run one on an old F5 and can certainly vouch that they give insanely consistent readings over the chrono. The name "ergo" certainly gives the obvious implication that these are comfy regs and this is indeed the case as the reg has large deep grooves for both big and small hands. If you've ever owned one of these then you certainly know why they are regarded so highly by so many.
Works great on both CO2 and HPA. |

| Strengths: |
Consistent, comfy |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
If the air fitting doesnt line up right the reg could get uncomfortable |
 |
| Review: |
I dont know what everyone else is talking about....It's been really consistent for me. When i first chronoed (not broken in yet) i got:
293, 293, 293, 290 <-- good enough for me.
It came on my nightkast, but it's still very cheap to buy new. It also is very comfortable...i grab the reg and my fingers magically line up in a very natural position
Ergo=ergonomic=one comfortable reg (unless the air fitting is sticking out to the side and it gets wierd to hold) |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Buy it, it works...but I'm also double regulating because of the worrgas, i've never used another reg with the worrgas so that could be the source of my great consistency for a reg that's yet to be broken in. |

| Review: |
I purchased this reg wanting not to pay alot, have external adjustability, and comfort. This reg does all of that. It's very cheap, check Ebay if you're interested.
Well first the Pros-
-Compared to the stock reg, it's great because it's externally adjustable
-It's "okay" over the chrono. I get about 8-12 +/-
-It's fairly consistent..
-The most comfortable reg you can buy, hands down.
-Price! Awesome deal for the price.
-You can buy a guage kit for it
Now the Cons-
-The stock WGP reg, Black Magic reg, and this reg all have the same exact internals, just different outer design
-Compared to other high end regs (sidewinder, cp, stab) it's not the greatest. Ya, 8-15 +/- aint too too bad, but when the sidewinder, cp, stab get 2-3 +/-.. you can't compare it.
-Bulkyness. I like the bulky feel of it, some don't... purely opinon.
|
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you are happy with your stock WGP reg, but just want to be able to adjust it easily, then maybe you should consider this reg. But, if you have the extra cash, definatly go for something better that will give you better results over the chrono. But don't get me wrong here, this reg (and stock, and bm reg) arn't that bad over the chrono, just not as good as the other high end regs. |

| Review: |
This Ergo deserves the 1 I'm going to give it 100%. Two of my friends and me all have WGP Ergo regulators. On the first day on of my friends got his eBlade, he could hardly play all day because his regulator would not flow... at all... I was getting terrible inconsistencies with the reg sweetspotted to my freeflow valve (open faced) and orracle bolt (open faced), which really shouldn't happen. We're talking +-6 over the chrono. I don't understand how that is acceptable to some people, one moment I'd be shooting 295 then the next I would shoot 283, then 289 and then maybe back to 295... I mean the chrono was all over the place. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Do not buy this reg, you will have nothing but trouble with it. The AKA Sidewinder is going to be my next reg, I'll tell you all how it went when I get it. |

| Review: |
great regulator for the price, it should work with almost any gun. its very consistent over the chrono, its easy to adjust, its perfects for u. Unless ofcourse u have more than enough money on your hands then get a higher end reg. wgp is a very good company and u should be very happy with this reg if u prchase it and i know i repeat myself but this thing needs more words |
 |
| Conclusion: |
if u want a new regulator and dont have enough money for a higher enf reg like a torpedo or stabalizer then go for it, it will work great |

 |
| Weaknesses: |
if not lubed properly it may leak. |
 |
| Review: |
This regulator is a very functional and comfortable. I was running about 2-4 variance at the chrono max. This was a great improvement from the stock setup. If you're looking for a great reg. and something that will work as a grip as well then this is the one for you. Just make sure that you get the gauge kit for it if you intend to use a gauge. If you don't ,you can install it in the extra port that the reg has but it will make it very uncomfortable. You should be able to find one on e-bay for around $40 with the gauge kit or $30 without. One other thing, if you intend to use this with HPA then you're good to go, if not and you are using Co2 make sure you have a remote line or an anti-siphon installed. This will help with not freezing up the reg.
-one last item is the ease of breakdown, This reg is very easy to breakdown and re-lube if needed. The only thing I will say is that the reg may leak if it is not properly lubed. The best way to lube this reg is with petroleum jelly it seams to work the best just make sure every single piece inside of the reg is lubed up with it, especially the o-rings. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is an awesome reg and with the gauge kit it becomes fully functional and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this to anyone, but if your going to use Co2 make sure you either have an anti-siphon or a remote line. |

 |
| Review: |
I got this reg for 40 new on ebay. I have a notorious history of buying crappy stuff; I spent money on an expo chamber previous to buying this. If you're looking to buy an expansion chamber, I urge you to instead save up for a regulator. An expansion chamber will help with keeping liquid out, but it can't control velocity spikes. A regulator will keep liquid out and drastically improve consistency. All you need to use this reg on a hp gun like a spyder ot tippmann is an anti-siphon co2, which you should get anyway (the cheapest performance upgrade.)
With anti-siphon co2 and this reg set at approximately 750 psi, i usually have =/- 6 over the chrono. I think, that while it's not the best around, this is consistent enough for my purposes (and especially because i'm using co2.) Ifyou have the money, however, invest in a PPS Stabilizer; its the best co2 reg on the market.
NOTE: for people looking to buy a wgp black magic reg, it is the exact same as the ergo reg, it's just milled and annoed differently. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
excellent with a/s co2, good first reg for nitro users. earns my personal seal of approval. |

spyder victor: 14" J&J ceramic barrel, WGP Ergo grip regulator, 32 degrees block, trigger mods, home-made drop forward, 12oz anti-siphoned co2. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
-very consistent
-works well as a grip
-affordable (on ebay)
-good with co2 |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
would be more comfortable as a grip if the output hole was on the bottom. |
 |
| Review: |
At first, I was unsure whether this reg would be a good addition to a spyder running on co2. I thought it was mostly made for cockers, which operate at a very low pressure compared to a spyder. Also, occkers are recommended to run with hpa.
I was wrong.
This reg works great on my victor! The second time I chronoed in, every shot was +/-2 fps with very occasional spikes of only about +/- 7fps.
The fact that this reg has 2 output holes is great because it allows you to put in a gauge, or attach your hose wherever is most comfortable. However, with a gauge, this reg wouldn't too comfortable to hold onto. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This reg rocks my socks. It may be he best in its price range. Don't be afraid to use it on a hugh pressure gun/ |

| Review: |
i love this reg, i have one on both my guns. i got velocities of 268, 267, 268 on my last chrono. the previous owner to my sto cocker found it to be the only reg that would work on it. for some reason, the one reg's anodizing wore off, but it actually looks kinda cool now. the reg is easily adjusted, and is very comfortable |
 |
| Conclusion: |
i highly recomend this product as i have found it to be a very consistant reg. |

this reg has a nice consistancy, its a comfortable grip while playing, a guage can be put on to see your input, and looks nice as well. the reg will get cold with co2, but u should really get a hpa tank before you get any reg in my opinon. |

| Conclusion: |
id reccomend this reg to anyone who wants a nice looking, and feeling conssitant regulator |

-looks great- ecspecially chrome
-has gauge port
-comfortable as foregrip |
 |

-gets real cold when rapid firing co2
-with gauge, not good foregrip
-thats about it
-pretty expensive (except on ebay) |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Overall, this is another good product from worrgames. Comes stock on STO; must be good. It is best to use hpa, because eventually co2 gets liquided up inside and freezes it up and messes up the reg. (i don't know firsthand; i just heard that from a guy playing at the local field) This is a great reg, and I got a chrome one for only $50 on ebay. |
