Products Used:
Palmer Cocker, stock WGP 98 Cocker, 96 Evo & 95 Bob Long Cocker.

Out of all those Cockers, I would put only the Palmer in the same league as the SFL when it comes to performance. As for looks, the SFL has 'em all beat.
Marker Setup: Matrix (LED w/ pushbutton) with AA Messiah @ sub-200psi input. Trinity reg, High Efficiency (Red & Blue) bolt kit. AA Armageddon 68ci 4500psi, no drop forward, set at 800psi.
Palmer Cocker same, except AA Vigilante @ 325psi input.

Lapco, Custom Products and DYE aluminum barrels of various bore sizes. 12V Revies w/X-boards and 6-arm paddles.
Recommended
Upgrades:
You will need a really high flowing air system. I've had best luck with a double regulated system, esp. the AA Messiah or Vigilante as the secondary reg. You can go with a cheaper, fixed nitro system, but do NOT compromise on the secondary reg. Interestingly, the new SFL's on BBT's website are pictured with the AA Messiah, which is esp. designed for high flow, low pressure (sub-500psi) output.

Get a 12V Revolution or Ricochet, but you don't need a Halo or Warp Feed. The SFL is light, so why bog yourself down with a heavy, force feed loader? Besides, the SFL can't fire fast enough to justify those loaders.
Strengths: It's true - it really is Super *&^*ing Light. A nice treat, considering most closed bolt guns tend to be on the portly side.

Jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The picture here doesn't do it justice. The one I owned also had the same milling and green to black fade. Beautiful.

Quality parts. You won't be disappointed with the front pneumatics or internals. All of Shocktech's best.

Precisely assembled. Tight feel and leak free.

Usual Cocker accuracy. It's a pleasure to snapshoot with the SFL.

Efficient shot count, thanks to the Rat Valve.
Weaknesses: The price is very high.

If you're used to fast-firing electro's, you may be disappointed at the relatively heavy trigger of the SFL. It's a very different style if you're coming from an Angel or Matrix. The SFL's trigger spring is even heavier than a stock WGP, to allow the trigger plate to return fast. If you're not used to this, it could be bothersome.

Related to the heavy trigger is that you probably won't be able to fire it as fast as an electro. If you want accuracy, the SFL is for you. If you want ROF at the Angel or Matrix level, then get an Angel or Matrix.
Conclusion: Really light, gorgeous, great parts, well built. Accuracy is typical Cocker - great for snapshooting. Use a top notch nitro system and secondary reg in order to do the Rat Valve justice.

High price. Heavy trigger allows rapid trigger return, but players who are used to electro's may find they can't fire the SFL as fast.

The SFL is a Cocker for the closed bolt fan, who doesn't want an electro's ROF.

2k2 cocker(s), freeflow cocker, a lot of cockers....
Marker Setup: 2k2 VF cocker w/ ACI nelson hammer, shocktech rat valve, mako bolt, kapp twisted cocking rod, shocktech timing rod, Shocktech BeaverTail,Shocktech "bomb" 3 way, shocktech ram, shocktech front reg, Air America Vigilante inline reg, Shocktech Front Block, WGP Flame Drop, WGP Hinge frame, 12in SPAA, 10.5 in j&j, dye stickies, egg2 w/ y-board
Recommended
Upgrades:
nothing really, only a new inline reg like a vigilante or messiah. and of course n2 and a revvy.
Strengths: light!!! compact, no kick, upgraded, looks great, shoots darts
Weaknesses: its slow, u can short stroke it, its expensive
Review: Shocktech does it again with the super frickin light autococker. u can find them on ebay for a lot cheaper the 1400, but they will stil be about 500-600. a great cocker by a great company, get it if you love cockers. if you are an electro kind of guy then dont get it, get an electro. you WILL short strokewith the cocker even though the bomb 3 way is so short. anyway, if you want a cocker that is pre-upgrad
Conclusion: anyway, if you want a cocker that is pre-upgraded, looks great, is "super fricking light", and even affordable, get this cocker!!!!!!!

i had a tippmann and then went to this but i've shot many high grade cockers and electros.
Marker Setup: i have the green to black fade shocktech sfl with a chrome angel regulator and all chrome pneumatics a kapp cradle with a 12vlt. rev. aswell as a green ricochet and 68ci/3000psi nitro duck tank (carbon fiber wrapped, clear stickies and matching anodised 14" boom stick
Recommended
Upgrades:
you cannot upgrade this gun, exept a new trigger frame like a pivot but you can order yours with it. but it's so fast you don't need it
Strengths: best damn gun in the world!! it is very smooth and snappy trigger; you can definitly crank the balls out... it is in my oppinion the best looking gun due to the fact u order evrything on it. very reliable it can take a dive and come out with out a scratch (good paint, and anodizing)
even the barrel that comes with it is awesome shoot diablo blaze perfectly
!!!you cant beat this acccuracy, seriously!!! you always get tips of barrels and pieces of hopper

best gun i couldn't even think of one thing to make it better
Weaknesses: nothing is bad.
Conclusion: bets gun i have ever shot and i've shotten a lot....
very light weight so you forget ure using after a while and it becomes an extension of ure arm (2.0lbs.) i think

Conclusion: If you are a cocker fan this one of the best ones made today.I would recommend this marker very highly, its what paintball is all about FUN.

Marker Setup: i use a dark angel , sfl cocker, and evolution cocker

Upgrades:
a good reg, the P.E. reg that comes with it is not really top of the line as you would expect
Strengths: this maker is super *ucking light as advertised
Weaknesses: it should have a one piece front block and ASA combo
Review: have mine set up with a single trigger rolling sear , and the trigger is SMOOTH
it has one of the best rolling sear triggers i have felt , next to the evolutions !
the big key selling point of this marker is that it is fully upgraged as is (with exception to the reg ) Shocktech machines all their parts well , the bolt is delrin so it never needs lubed .also i am always aware that there are only a few threads holding on the ASA , if i were to custom build this marker i would want a solid one piece front block ans ASA
the timing of this marker is tight and if you get one you should know yourself or know some one that can time an autococker . also i found that i had to turn the inlet pressure to 350 psi as with my evolution i can run at < 250 . but with all that said i can say this I HaVE YET TO BREAK A BALL WITH THE SFL , and for the price should come with a lifetime warrenty from shocktech instead of just one year
Conclusion: if your looking for a light marker with all the upgrades included then get the SFL !
also i cant type for *hit so if there are spelling errors in the post so be it

i would have given higher rating but ten is only for the best marker in the class and in cockers it is not the SFL it is the EVOLUTION so i gave the review a 9

freak factory impulse, sto cocker, adrenalin angel, ironmen angel, dye cocker, free-flow cocker, eclipse led angeland an e-mag
Marker Setup: blue to silver fade 2K1 Shocktech SFL mini-cocker w/ vert. feed; and eclipse blade trigger frame, matching boomstick and freak, shochtech drop foward, 68/4500 max-flo and a slight trigger job.
Recommended
Upgrades:
a freak barrel and a 12v hopper w/ an x-board and a max-flo
Strengths: Its one of the lightest and most reliable cockers on the market today. I love the efficiency of the gun too. I can shoot a case of paint on one fill. Because of this gun more than half of my teammates have started shooting autocockers. But I think the real reason is beacuse I was gogging them from cross field and they were feed up with that so they had to get one too. Look at what I started.
Weaknesses: Could be milled down a little bit more other than that its perfect
Conclusion: If your thinking of getting a Shocktech cocker don't hesitate just buy it you'll be glad you did I know I am an the hundreds of others that have bought a Shocktech autococker are too.

-2k Element Angel
-2k1 Adrenalin LCD
Marker Setup: Pewter engraved SFL. With spiral WDP mini-reg, Eclipse pivot trigger, 14 and 10 inch. boomer, Shocktech drop w/ KAPP on/off ASA, and a PMI 68/30 pure energy.
Recommended
Upgrades:
None. It's comes perfect when you get it. The rest are just preference.
Strengths: -Accurate
-Compact
-fast(if you have fast trigger finger)
-Shoots great

The marker is geat. My old set up on it had a Centerflag reg and a Shocktech swing was awsome, it was very vey consitant, evn with te screw in tank. The single trigger was nice too, but too many people use it and like it, but can never get used to the sliding trigger, so I switched to the swings for the sake of the untalented. Hardly chopped.
Weaknesses: Nothing at all. But for some people since its a cocker, needs to get used t the sliding trigger or buy a swing. The price also is a problem for some people, but theres alot more expensive markers.
Conclusion: I would recomend buying this marker. But if it doesn't fit in your price range, you can always get the normal Shocktech cocker.
The SFL can duke it out and can handle games with the fast electros out there, like e-mags and angels. Its a pretty effective marker if you can handle it.

Marker Setup: Silver polish SFL with Shocktech drop forward, swing trigger, chrome 2002 KAPP tank adaptor, SS Freak system, 88 ci 3000 pure energy tank, clear 12v revy
Recommended
Upgrades:
A new barrel preferably a freak system, I have always had problems with boomsticks the bore is always to small
Strengths: -It is soooooo light
-Unbelieveably accurate
-Great trigger pull
-Great front block
-Great customer service
-Looks awesome with all the milling and anodizing
Weaknesses: -Very pricy
-The three way was busted when I got it but the customer service was great at Shocktech so I had it back fixed in about 2 weeks
-The trigger may be a little too long for those who unload paint
Conclusion: In conclusion this is my favorite gun, I play front and I do not usually unload alot of paint so it is perfect for me.............If you have the money and and want accuracy go buy it. I bought mine for 1399.99 because I got mine with a swing trigger instead of standard single. $ = buy no $ = save up to buy
