Paintball Experience: 2 years Similar Products Used: Spyder Aggresor, Spyder Compact 2 in 1 Marker Setup: Tru-flight 14in sniper,red dot laser sight, 20oz.tank, drop foward Recommended Upgrades: New barrel stock one stinks,and a micro line hose Strengths: Light, Easy to clean , accurate, also has a drop forward that comes stock,very quiet Weaknesses: Doesn't shoot consestently, terrible stock barrel, made of "composite" a.k.a plastic, Not good in cold weather Conclusion: All in all this is a great gun for 2nd or 3rd year players, Awsome gun!!!!! Paintball Experience: 4 years Similar Products Used: Stingray II (Slightly worse), Marauder (About the same), Spyder compact 2k (better) Marker Setup: I've got me a slingshot Recommended Upgrades: The question isn't what to upgrade on it, the question is should you upgrade, let alone buy this marker; The answer? No. Strengths: Cheap Accepts spyder upgrades Weaknesses: Plastic or "composite" (composite is what manufacturers like to call plastic to make it sound better.) Bad stock barrel (most guns under $350 have this problem so it's no big deal.) Conclusion: Ok honestly in my fair opinion there is no reason to buy this product, or the sport, about the same opinion to the Agressor and Victor. The only reason I can fathom is that you don't want to buy over the internet & there are no nearby proshops. Even then A Sonix is a better choice. For less money you can buy a compact 2k, which is a better gun. New it is around $65, some have it as low as $60. With the Money you saved buying a better gun you can buy a decent barrel like a J&J ceramic or and old 1 piece All American. Since I am supposed to compare by price/performance I'm going to give it a low grade; not because it's a bad product for a newb or a starter.... But because you can get a better gun for less money. SLayco Thursday, November 7th, 2002 Period of Product Use: Only tested Paintball Experience: 2 years Similar Products Used: It is the exact same thing as a spyder sport or a spyder sonix Marker Setup: A new green spyder sport with a j&j one peice ceremic barrel 20 oz Co2 tank Bob Long silver flames drop and elector trigger with a view loader Evelution hopper Recommended Upgrades: Neww BARREL I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!!!! And if you are a seasoned player you might want a electro grip thats about all Strengths: Its a very good gun for the price it has the ability to be upgraded to stay compeditive with newer markers but wont take a chunk out o your poket.It is a good dark color so you wont be seen in the woods its got a good .45 grip frame its a good biggener gun as well as Higher level player gun.The .45 grip gives a good feel so you dont well drop the dang thing its a very good price for a good gun Weaknesses: There are a few plastic parts to this gun meaning it wont last forever unless you are like i am with my sport and treat it like my own flesh and blood.It is a bit on the very loud sid but as we all know that can be fixed with the help of a good new barrel i prefer a j&j my self. The drop on it is kinda weak but thats only for those of us that want to look good comin off the feild with the winning smile on ther face:). Conclusion: But all in all its a relly super gun its almost the same as a TL+ or like i said my Sport.Its a good gun for the newbies or for a seasoned veterain of the game.all i have left to say about this gun is just go out and buy it,i promis with the right upgrades you will be very happy.
