| ZEL Tactical Paintball Hoods are designed to lessen the pain and bruises from paintball hits to the neck and to the top of the head. The padding in the head and neck areas is made of high quality, high- density foam that absorbs and distributes much of the impact of paintballs. The padding in the head area is 3/8 of an inch thick and covers the area that your face mask does not protect. The padding around the neck is 1/2 inch thick and is adjustable for a comfortable fit. The padding in ZEL Hoods are attached with velcro, adjustable and easily removable for washing of the hood. ZEL Hoods are currently available in Black and Camouflage. |

I have used everything from a backwards baseball hat, bandannas, sock hats, and thick beanies. I shave my head slick so paintball hits to the head are very painful and leave very noticeable bruises on my dome. |

| Strengths: |
This product is by far the best head protection on the market. I was suspicious of the foam and how effective it would be but after taking three head shots and one neck shot I was convinced. You still felt the hit but there was very little pain and not one bruise! I like how the hood looks and I got a lot of questions about it on the field. It is a very simple design and yet very effective. |

I don't really have that much bad to say about this hood. It is a little expensive and I did get hot during the middle of the day but the payoff of not having to go to work on Monday with bruises all over my head and neck was well worth it! |

| Conclusion: |
I would definitely recommend this product to all styles of players. It is comfortable, it looks cool and it definitely protects the head and neck. When I got the hood in the mail I looked at it and I thought, "Now why didn't I think of that?" The hood is so simple and yet so effective it is amazing that it took twenty years of paintball playing to come up with the idea. I wish I had the patent rights to this product. I would be playing a heck of a lot more paintball! |

| Strengths: |
I've been using the hood for about 7 months now, and I love it! The worst hits I've taken have always been to the neck and the top of the head. This hood covers and pads those areas. Since I've been using it, I've also noticed more head shots glancing off and not breaking. It's saved me from at least five wicked head/neck shots that would've left serious marks without it. |

The hood is warm for summer play. I bought a black one, but I think they also sell other colors that may not be as hot. When it's cooler, the hood works great to keep you warm. |

Everyone should at least try one. It's probably the cheapest piece of safety equipment you can buy, and my favorite. It's well worth the $30 I spent. |
