It really depends in which direction you want to go: Electronic or Mechanical....
If you want to keep it Mechanical, and want it to "Keep-Up" with ANY electronic marker:
Dye or Planet Eclipse ".45" Double-Finger Swing Trigger w/ Shocktech "Roller" Sear, WGP MP-4 Ram, WGP "Tickler" LPR, WGP Worr-Blade Bolt, WGP Orracle Valve Assembly...OR...Planet Eclipse "Supercharger" Valve Assembly, WGP "Worr-Blade" Lock-Down Hammer Kit...OR...Planet Eclipse "Rex Dialer" Hammer Kit, WGP "Black Magic" Cocking Rod, Shocktech Spring Kit, Redz "Q-Lock" Clamping Feedneck.
If you want to turn it into a "Competition Killer" Electronic....just do the same thing that I did to my marker. I don't mean to sound conceited, but this thing shreds. Seriously.....I have been playing since I was 14 (born in 1975, you do the math), and I have even owned an Angel.....but this is the best marker that I have ever owned/played with. Autocockers have the WIDEST VARIETY/ASSORTMENT OF UPGRADES OVER ANY OTHER MARKER ON THE MARKET. PLUS....they are the easiest to field-strip and clean should you chop a ball in the chamber!!!!!
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
Accurate, Durable, Quiet, Lightweight (Depending on the Upgrades), and Extremely Reliable. |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Lack of availability. These things have become VERY hard to find. Try Ebay. |
 |
| Review: |
I had a WGP 2002 VF Autococker, but sold it in order to buy this beauty. The body is milled to be light-weight, and pleasing to the eye. WGP is known for their marker's accuracy and durability. I chose to use Planet Eclipse and WGP Products to upgrade my STO.....because (in my opinion) these companies are the best out there. I conducted months of research to ensure the compatibility of the components/upgrades that I intened to use, and it really paid off. Now, it could save you a lot of time. If you want to keep your STO mechanical, or turn it into an "Electronic Opponent Shredder"....then take my advice. If you have any questions about paintball (Markers, Loaders, Upgrades, Tactics, Drills, Excercise for speed, etc)....just send me an e-mail: AnrkystPaintball@Aol.com and put "Paintball Question" in the subject line. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
The STO (Special Tournament Option) was originally created for the serious tournament player. However, the game has drastically changed. These markers have taken a back-seat to markers like Angels and Egos. If you are "Old School" like me....then you are a true fan of the all-mighty autococker. If you can find one, buy it!!!!! Ebay has them from time-to-time, and you can usually get them for under/around $300. Be carefull though,.....especially for the ones that have been drilled for the E1/E2, but do not include th E1/E2 "System". This is usually a sign of im-proper drilling, and could result as a bad investment. Your best bet.....if you can find one.....go after the one(s) that haven't been modified for the E1/E2. That way, you have the option to upgrade it (if that's your intention), at a later point. Also, you won't have to worry about whether or not it's been "modified" correctly. It doesn't matter what direction you head in, this marker will definitely take you all the way!!!!! |

32 degrees grip
Hinge trigger
dye boomstick
|
 |
Recommended Upgrades: |
Hinge trigger defanatly! makes it shoot much better and muchfaster.
Barrel-the stock barrel is not really bad but i recommend a dye boomstick
compressed air is a must
revolution for shooting faster
the pneumatics are not bad i really dont recommend a new fromblock |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
This Marker is probably best i have ever shot. It shoots quietly, straight, and is shoots far. This marker is very reliable and will not break down on you. This gun looks awesome and shoots awesome! If you want to compare this to an angel it is better inmore ways. This gun can shoot farther, more accurate, and smoother. Angel well it can really only shoot faster, |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
sometimes i shoot way to fast and the bolt gets stuck, probably some oil can fix that. I would acctualy recommend a new bolt and cocking rod. The stock cocking rod seems to come loose alot of the time if you shoot to fast during game play. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
It is worth your money more than getting a blackmagic or normal cocker. Buy it! you will not regret it! Angel are too expensive get this |

everything. it is accurate. never chops balls. reliable. easy to clean. short trigger pull. regulated great. air efficient. light. small-compact. |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
the bad about this product is the plastic trigger frame. i immediatly switched to a dye chrome but i heard that if u don't mess with the frame then u will be fine. stock barrel isn't that great. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
if you want a competitive gun then go with this or a black magic. make sure u switch out the stock with either a boomstick or an xl barrel. |

I heard so many people say not to buy a Spyder and save for an Autococker. Boy was I stupid buying a Spyder. Since purchasing this marker I literally haven't touched my Spyder.
Autocockers are know for there accuracy and I got a lesson in accuracy. My STO hauls paint like there is no tomorrow. The CP barrels shoot the paint right on top of each other. |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
It is a little expensive. These markers are high maintence. Then again, any high performance marker is high maintence. There is a cardinal rule for Autocockers that reads: "If it works don't f**k with it." I broke this rule and couldn't get the marker to cycle. There was a tech at the field and he timed it at field.
You can spend too much money upgrading it. Is that really bad?
I bought a red and silver splash and face a few limitations on aftermarket parts to try to get the color scheme to match. Get a black STO and you can accent it with chrome all day long. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you are thinking of buying a marker, save your money and buy an STO. You won't go wrong and will enjoy the accuracy that no other marker can beat. One last piece of advice is to remember the cardinal rule. Pay a gun tech to adjust/repair it.
One final thought: buy an STO. You won't be disappointed! |

there is only one thing i would change on this gun if i was wgp i would have milled this thing down to be as light as possible other than the weight which is stil not really that bad its a great gun i would recomend it to anyone its well worth the money you wil spend on it |

| Review: |
my gun came with a bad reg, this was not the guns fault but the former owners. Im not happy about them ripping me off but again not the guns fault, after buying a new reg this gun shot like a dresm, i can now put 3 balls on top of each other and shoot 8 bps with the stock triggerframe...i would recomend this gun for anyone who can afford it, although i do have problems with the gun thet are all about the former owner, this gun gets a 10 out of 10! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
buy this gun, it has a great rate of fire, accuracy and distance, the milling and colors arnt bad either |

|
 |
| Strengths: |
Accuracy/Distance
Small Size I have a mini-sto
Great Rof
Good looking- I know its not performance but its pretty!
Great balance especially with a drop forward.
JJ Stock barrel is pretty good, i prefer an All American but i would shoot it. |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Plastic grips that crack.
Umm...................... |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I love this gun. can't believe the scores its been getting. The plastic grip crack, cry me a rive most guns have plastic grips. At least this is a .45 grip. Has a good barrel, which more then i can say for most guns. Its small, fast, and accurate. It pisses me off that this gun is getting 7's and 8's when a spyder is getting a ten. This gun is nearly perfect especially for the money. Yeah an evolution will outperform it, but its nearly double the price. Yeah an angel fires faster but it can't toach this gun in range and accuracy. This gun doesn't desevere such a low rating. |

| Review: |
This is a great gun. In its time it was top of the line, however i would recommend a nighkast or outkast over this gun if you want on auto cocker now. It is no longer worth 800$ as the discription says, but with a new trigger, internals and barrel this marker is top of the line. If you can get this cheap its well worth it, but if you are buying it for over 200-300$, spend your money on a lighter body. Its the same as all other cockers, karnies to verts, but with an outdated body. Great product. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is an awsome marker, just a little out dated and heavy |
