| Review: |
Accuracy: Very accurate marker, expecially when an after market barrel is added. Shoots strait and at exactly you want it at.
Speed: I used to own an Angel IR3 but I sold it because of my preferance to an Autococker. The Outkast comes very close to the Angel did in speed but still not really in the same comparison.
WeightNice light gun. Easy to manouver with.
LooksSuch a sexy gun, one of the best looking autocockers on the market. Comes in many colours, all of which are original and very toight. Nice dust job to.
Simplicty:Probably the most simply designed autococker. Easy to make adjustments and fix as well timing is very easy to do with body design. (even easier if you purchase an Evil Auto-Bolt).
ManualIf thats what u wana call it. Autocockers are not an easy gun to learn and the manual does not make it any easier with its lacking contents. It was about 5 pages long and didn't explain anything very well at all. If someone is going to spend that much on a paintball gun, it should include a decent manual.
When I owned my first autococker I was 12 years old and hadn't had much paintball experience. Autococker's were still very complicated and bulky. At the time I decided to switch to an Automag because I needed something simplar. I would never do that now. Autocockers have become simpler and much more upgradable. They are fast, timed, accurate and very, very good markers. I have no regrets with this marker except that I slightly overpaid. Not a big deal at all though. I have not chopped one paintball since I bought this gun either. So don't believe what some people say about cockers, their opinions are usually based on old autocockers and are bias. This is an excelent autocker. up there with some of the top cockers like Free-Flows and such. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I'm giving this marker my best rating. In the 7 years I've played and studied paintball this is one of the best markers I have come across. If your an improving intermediate player or a high end player this is an excellent choice. Keep in mind wwhen buying, however, you should NOT run this on Co2. Get this gun, you'll like it. |

As with about 99%% of all Paintball markers on God's green Earth, uprading the stock barrel is a definate must if you intend to play anything that even closely resembles tournament level paintball. It's not the worst stock barrel ever created, but it doesn't compare with the slick new upper-level barrels available today.
The stock trigger can hold it's own, and with a fair amount of practice I assume one would be able to attain a decent rate of fire with it, but it's still nowhere even close to a Blade, Hinge Reflex or any other pivoting trigger. Upragding the stock trigger isn't a requirement for Hyperball, but it is a good idea.

 |
 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
In the most basic sense, the Outkast is simply a slicker looking STO. For the money, the milling is gorgeous and so is the annodizing (the pictures at Worr.com are actually quite decieving, the matte gray is more of a dark stainless steel hue). The only major differences between this and the STO besides the body are the adjustable front regulator (which is a definate plus) and the bolt (which, I'm sorry to say, is a minus). It has pretty much the same performance in every other department; quite consistent (although not extremely), same smooth feel due to the chromed and polished internals and 3-way (or 4-way...depending on which camp one belongs to), and the exact same trigger. It's a great gun overall, one that I do not regret laying my money down on the table for whatsoever! With the right upgrades, it can easily compete with any of the ultra upper-level Autocockers in terms of sheer performance (minus the exotic milling and featherweight feel generally shared by markers of that calibre). |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
As stated above, the stock barrel isn't too incredible. Beyond that, the only thing that isn't top-notch for the price would be the bolt. In essence, it's little more than a milled stock Autococker bolt. The WGP venturi is the one upgraded feature that didn't carry over from the STO. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Definately an incredible marker! I've no regrets at buying it at all. The feel, look, and performance are all great, and the upgradability of this marker opens the door to add even more game to this already solid Autococker. |

| Review: |
I am the proud owner of the 2004 outkast, one of the best cockers i have had the privilege to use...let alone own. Before I went out to purchase the outkast, I had widdled down my choices down to the kapp reflex, nightkast and the mini orracle. I tried out many other guns and played atleast a game with any gun that I was concidering. It seemed I could get more bps off on the reflex and the mini orracle...just bearly though. The reflex had a problem with chopping for some reason, I had played 3 games with it, and it had chopped every game. The mini orracle was just jaw dropping...definitely the fastest mech cocker I have ever shot. I was almost positive I short stroked a couple times but it never chopped. Extreamly accurate also. Then I went on to shoot the outkast (stock). I was pretty impressed until I had tried a friends which was upgraded somewhat like mine with a few more ups. OMG!..... that thing was so freakin accurate i almost sh*t my pants. I really couldn't beleive how dead on i was... on everything. It was just beautiful. After shooting it, I immediately went on to ebay I found a brand new one for the best price which was around $340. I then proceeded to upgrade my gun right away and I have never looked back since. This marker is so great I don't have the words to describe it. I have never chopped a ball since I have owned it, I shoot an average 4-6 pbs (may seem slow, but it's quite more than enough for any kind of rec ball, and most tournaments) and surprisingly have not had to maintenance my gun much at all. (oil here and there, that kind of thing) My first real experience with this thing was in my first tournament when I lit up a back who was shooting a dm4. Quite funny, since he could buy 6 outkasts for the price of his gun. I honestly don't see why you would need any kind of improvement on the amount of bps it shoots, when it's so accurate that it really should only take a couple shots to hit an opponent from really any distance...that is if you can aim at all.
(you can check my gun out on the stock pics they have on here for the outkast) |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I recommend this marker to anyone who likes autocockers (hands down the best cocker for the money) and whoever wants something freakin sexy they can show off when they go paintballin'. I am completely satisfied with this marker, I honestly could not be happier. If you are thinkin of going with the outkast, expect to put a bit of money into it so it can really showoff its full potential. By far the MOST ACCURATE cocker I have ever shot in my life. |

Barrel: i would recommend i barrel set especially if fields make u use there paint.
Compressed Air (definite).
New Bolt but the stock one is fine. |

 |
| Strengths: |
-super light
-the milling and dust job is awesome
-great consistancy
-amazing for stock |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
-manual (look at websites for help)
-u want to hold all the time |
 |
| Review: |
All i have to say is that it is one of WGP's best creations. The gun is milled beautifully and operates like no other stock gun in its price range. The stock pneumatics are very reliable as well as the reg and and trigger (which is very smooth).
If u are moving up from a blow back or other starter gun i recommend this for it is easy to upgrade and maintain.
The only "bad side" for some is that it is strongly strongly advised to use Compressed air over C02 and if u do use CO2 then make sure that the tank is anti-siphon and that u have a reg that can handle CO2.
For better performance use Compressed Air. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Superb. |

Accurate! I went off on this pole at about 40 feet, and only 2 balls missed!! and then the short stroke thing, dont worry about it, as long as you do a full tigger pull you will be fine... |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Trigger is alright, just needs to time, like every cocker... the vert feed isnt removable, but its low rise so it doesnt matter... Doesnt have any drop forward, but there are some nice after market drops and cradles out there... nothing extremely bad... just little stuff I am picky about |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Perfect?!?! this gun rules!! just get a nice hopper and a broomstick or something to spice it up, I know for a fact this gun has great air usage, I got like 1500 shots on my Max Flo and I havent even put in the Mid Pressure Spring yet, so get this marker!!! but not for anything over 600$ (inc. Tax) |

I am new to cockers but from going from a bushmaster the trigger pull is smooth but needs to be a lot shorter. I recomend a hinge, 3 way, anything to shorttent the trigger |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
prett accurate w/ the 10in 2piece stock barrel. But do everyone a favor and buy a new barrel. Its sooo cheap I ordered this gun 14inch cpbarrel and 2000 marbs all for $643 w/shipping. Shoots very accurately with the right paint-barrel match and open to a wide verity of upgrades |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
on thing I hate about cockers is short stroking. this is when u don;t release the trigger all the way and it increases the chances of breaking ball and doubble feeding. this cocker has no exceptions u have to decipline while using this cocker. But getting trigger adjustment would almost certinaly eleminate shor stroking. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
great gun for the money would give a10 if it had a shorter pull, came w/ a longer barrel, and actully came w. a decent manual. Really WGP your tech manuls are a piece of crap! |

| Review: |
I got this at christmas a while back, my first high end mechanical gun. When i took it out of the box i noticed it was quite heavy. The grips were nice . next day i aired it up and shot it. When i shot it i noticed if i got into high bps it would chop allot. But make sure if your using it mechanical do a nice even pull each time. I got my egg2 2 weeks later and noticed the stock feedneck is really small. So i bought a kaner feed neck for 40$ fits like a dream. I use my halob and reloader b and both fit nicely with no scratches.
A christmas later i bought an eblade2 v.024. What can I say. It just made a perfect gun even better. Eblades are easy to use and now aday's can be bought for cheaper than whaat i payed (500$) and you can find the newer versions with other modes IE psp ramping, and other modes full auto i think. Very fast now.
The stock barrel on this gun is crap. I bought an excel barrel off my friend and its Much more accurate.
I spent 1.1k on this gun. At the time it was very nice. but i regret buying it all together now with the a1 angel for less than that now adays and the fly coming out, 07 egos ect( I hate egos but its better than this). I would reccomend saving your cash.
|
 |
| Conclusion: |
Its nice. Im not sure of the price of it brand new now adays but if its anything close to what i payed for it brand new, save your money. |

| Review: |
Ok i got rid of my old review and my cockyness so this review will be much more accurate. I'll break it down in sections to make it easier to read.
BARREL : While its not the worst stock barrel ever it isnt all to great either. Its somewhere between low-end stock barrel and medium-ranged stock. It can shoot pretty darn accurate at close ranges up to about 50 feet. But after that balls curve and drop randomly.
TRIGGER/TRIGGER FRAME: Well the trigger on most new outkast guns is nothing like what is shown in that picture up there. Its a hinge trigger with a blade style trigger in it. Its a bit heavy if you leave it the way it comes and if you try to shoot real fast you will more likely get finger fatigue than a short stroke. (though short stroking is possible anytime stressed out fingers make it more likely) (oh god that sounds so funny) The frame is very nice its chrome on my gun and i beleive it also comes in black. Its very durable and my only complaint is that it fingerprints very easily and im not a fan of my gun looking dirty.
THE MARKER: Well as for how well the marker itself performs its excellent. I have yet to have trouble with this one and i enjoy using it. Its a fun gun to play with and its good enough to play speedball with.
AIR EFFICIENCY: Well its very efficient compared to the rumors on cockers. I always hear how much my gun sucks air. I got off about 600-700 rounds on one fill which is about what i got with my Tippman 98c. So i would say this is Mid-High range on efficiency. Only (to my knowledge) second to the Karnivor.
|
 |
| Conclusion: |
I would recommend this gun to anyone whos looking for a nice quality upgradeable gun that can shoot a bit faster than some. Its a nice quality gun and with a few upgrades such as a worrblade it will have you matching up against pros. |

Other than some very easy to change parts this gun is very nice out of the box. never given me any problem at all. very accurate and pretty quiet. the feed neck is a little small for some hoppers and loose for others but with a little tweaking you can get some thing that fits just right. |

Weaknesses... barrel. everything else is phenomenal. |
 |
| Review: |
I ordered this gun a few weeks back and when i opened the box i was very impressed. The milling, the anodizing, it was all absolutely stunning. But what i was most definitely not expecting was to get the new '04 bottomline setup and the threaded feed neck. I had been told that WGP wasn't making the outkast anymore and that it didn't have the new features such as the threads on the feed neck and the bottomline. My local shop had informed me of this, but i checked out onlinepaintball.ca and they were more than helpful with everything. anyone wanting to buy something cheap and with no problems i recommends these guys. The OutKast is an unbelievable marker, i have had no problems except for the barrel and learning to time the thing but with everything you need a little bit of practice. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
if you are planning on getting this marker go for it. its fairly inexpensive, and people will be saying 'dude is that the outkast? Nice.' yeah its that good. the only drawback to a cocker is timing. You need patience or else you might put your fist into a wall. like i did. |
