Review: Using a Tippmann 98 Custom with a 14" Barrel and a 20 Oz. Tank makes the marker really long! and its kinda annoying after awhile. Not to mention as you add more upgrades to the marker it makes it heaver.

I got the remote to shorten the total length of the marker and to lighten the weight as well. After installing the remote the length and weight was much better. Its really convienient to be able to put the back of the marker right up against my chest when i'm in coming around corners, or hiding in tight confined spaces when i snipe in the woods.

As for durability, my line worked fine all day, it never snagged on anything, but it was long enought where i could extend my arm to full length, or switch to left handed shooting when i needed to fire from the left side of bunkers or trees. When i slid down steep hills on my bottom side, the remote never snagged, never tore, and never ripped, it worked like a champ.

The only negative thing i have to say about this remote is that it does not come with a slide check. For those of you who don't know what a slide check is, its a collar that you can pull back to bleed the gas out of the remote line. When the line is pressurized you cannot disconnect the quick disconnect, the pressure is to high, you have to turn off the bottle and shoot the marker untill you lose pressure so you can take of the line if you want to set it down between games, with the slide check you simply turn off the bottle, pull back the slide check collar, and its bleeds the line, then you can disconnect the line from the marker without having to shoot it.
Conclusion: Its a good remote line, if you order this make sure you order a slide check as well.
8/10 because it does not come with the slide check already installed.

Strengths: gets the weight off the marker
Weaknesses: harder to switch hands when you get bunkered in
Review: Two of my close buddies got this with no problems and recomended it to me soo...here i am

I went to the local Pb store and having known that i wanted a remote line my trip was fairly short.

First they had 2 coiled remote lines one by tippmann and this one. I compared the specs pressure rating strength and cost. both remote lines were rated to 3000 psi, both stood up to me tugging on the connectors, both stood up to me attempting to put a kink in the line to no avail. The only determining factor in me choosing this remote line was that it was almost half as expensive as the competiting tippmann remote line.

Like i said before i tried several methods to see if i could break the line in the pb store but it held up like a champ

Honestly the best thing about a remote line is thse ability to get the weight of your air off of your marker and onto your body. This is especially useful when you have a stock or a long barel due to the length a marker will get with these upgrades

Like others have said it is lacking one thing a slide check. you can read other reviews to see about this
Conclusion: good product cheap price sturdy a good 9 out of 10

Strengths: Takes tank off gun
Doesn't snag
Looks pretty cool
Weaknesses: Mine does something kinda weird - see below
Review: This is a pretty cool remote at a great price. It's black, unlike the big chrome lokking braided ones, and it has more flexibility than a braided one. It doesn't come with a slide check but you can still effectively save CO2 if you do it right. Mine does something kinda weird though...after about 20 or 30 shots it will start to lose pressure and my velocity drops like it's running out of CO2...then I have to quickly turn the pin valve knob out like I'm disconnecting it then reconnect it and it will work for about 20-30 more shots. If someone knows how to fix this problem put it in a review comment. Sometimes this problem doesn't occur though, so I'm giving it an 8 for doing its job and being fairly inexpensive.
Conclusion: Get it but if yours do the thing mine does, don't worry about it, I'm sure it's fixable.

Marker Setup: Spyder Electra DX - 32 Degree Remtoe Coil with SLIDE CHECK!!!
Strengths: SLIDE CHECK Cuts off the air! NO LEAKS
Weaknesses: Absolutly none.
Review: My gun Has a stock reg that does not allow the air in the gun to flow back out if I disconnect. So for those of you that dont' have this get an ON/OFF ASA.

I lose virtually no air when I disconnect. I never have to turn off the valve at the tank. I can reach the Knob because I'm flexible but many of you guys can not turn that knob without someone help. With the SLIDE-CHECK you do not have to do that anymore. It will cut off the air at the quick disconnect. You will lose almost no air disconnecting.
Leak can be easily fixed if you have teflon. But This product was made so well that not a drop of air would come out.

The only problem that I tought I has was that it would lose pressure after about 5 shots. Oops My fault. After you turn the knob until the air starts to flow you need to turn the knob at least 1 or 2 more turns to get the full air flow out of the tank.
Conclusion: I dont' give out 10 unless it's the best.
This is the best for only $29 compared to and ACI with slide check for $55

Marker Setup: Automag RT w/ LvL 10,Flatline Nitro/HPA,Intelliframe,J&J Preformance Barrel, and a 12v revy with X-board. The gun I used the Remote line on was a Brass egale Raptor...
Strengths: It was light and stretchy and fit around the body and helped the weight problem
Weaknesses: The plastic snapps and you loose a tank of air and you line...
Review: Well we were playing a game and I was just walking wth my gun hook to this thing and this was like 2 weeks after I got it and the plastic snapped and the remote line started swivaling everywhere.
So I can't possibly give this a nice reviewcause the thing snapped. I reccommend a steel braided hose thy don't snapp and there not very heavy and not to constricting. Also when you turn the knob on top the tank doesn't depressurizenot sure if it does on other remotes but it woukld be nice if it did.
Conclusion: Wouldn't buy it again and I suggest you don't either.

Review: First off I have to say this remote has performed amaizingly and has superceeded my expectations. I will start off with the negatives first and then the fun part.

When you connect the line and turn on the flow, tighten the screw, the line starts twising and bunching up. I sudjest that you get everything setup up first, have it all connected and on, and then uncoil the remote before it is in your belt.

Second, since there is no slide check, you must turn off your valve and shoot off the remaining air. A slide check basically realeses all the remaining air. There are a couple things that will happen if you dont. A-hose flailing everywhere, B- the 0-ring on the disconnect may fly off, that happened when I let one of my buddies use my remote.
C-bye bye air.

Some people say they have problems over tightening and turning off the air. I have had that problem. To fix that just crank it on tight then loosen it off .5-1 tuen. The other problem I have had is undertightening and not enough flow. So just make sure you get it right.

Someone said on another review that his hose snapped. Well one pice of advice I have is , do not bleed your entire tank and expect your hose to be flexible.

When you are in the forest or in speed ball, having a remote of any sort maks it difficult to switch hands.

Now the PROS:

The durability, length and price

Durability: I was fighting with my friend after one round. I told him that if he wasted his CO2 in that round that I would light him up. Well he is a total paint waster and well he was out of air. Then the lighting up occurred. He got pissed and rushed me. He came from behind and i hit him with the stock of my gun. I threw down my gun and the fight was on. Within a few seconds I had ditched my gun and it had dragged it a fair length accros the forest. He was down for the count fairly quickly. When all was said and done my coiled remote was now a straight remote and had dragged my gun a fair way. This thing is durrable. For referance sake, I won.

Length: This remote is easily long enough to fully outstretch and not have any proble, Seeing as I am 6'3 I am pretty sure t will work for most other people too.

Price: Its pretty much cheaper than any other remote. If you have a stock it will help out alot. That will keep your gun free.
Conclusion: It doesn't really catch on anything.
The Price is great.
Durrablility is great.
Must BUY, especially if you have a stock.

Strengths: remote location, easy to set up, handy
Weaknesses: large hose, tangles, bulky to store
Review: I and 3 others in my group use this product. As noted in a previous post, if you screw the line down all the way it blocks the air. I corrected that first by unscreing it a 1/2 turn which worked but now I have ON?OFF valves so the screw on top doesn't even come into play.
I love the remote feature and have only seen one go bad. A friend of mine had a brand new one and a bubble formed by the coupling about the size of 3 golfballs in a row.
All in all I think you will enjoy the freedom this gives you but then again, after it;s hooked up and on the gun you lose some freedom of laying your gun down etc.
I like mine and will always have SOMEKIND of a remote. I MAY try a braided line remote next if this one goes bad.
Conclusion: If you want a remote, GET IT. I think you'll be happy

Review: This remote caused me nothing but pain and torment!
I bought this and my HPA tank at the same time. After instillation, I noticed that my range and consistency when to the crapper. Also, If I had the on/off valve turned all the way in (like you normally do with a remote) the gas flow would completely cut off from my gun. If I had it any less tighter, however, my marker was not meeting the PSI required to function properly.. Also my Cyclone that I purchased a short time later chopped paint like crazy due to it's starvation for gas and at times my Response Trigger wouldn't even work because of the insufficient preassure reaching my gun.. For months I tried to descifer what the problem was.. I began researching the products I used in hopes of finding some low reviews and descriptions that met my dilemas description.. That's when I thought to check the reviews on my remote and came across this trusty little life saving review here at PBreview, and after reading the 1-3 star ratings, descided to return this one and buy a better one.. Upon the purchase of my Spyder HP coiled remote, my efficiency, range, feed, RT, and consistency is everything I expected it to be when I installed it on my gun! Further problems I had with it were that it has no bleeder system (slide check) to leak out the residual air left in the hose and gun when unscrewing tank as I cannot shoot all of the access gas out with my marker it being blowback design (even when recocked by hand there is still enough residual PSI to make the quick disconnect hard to detach). Having a slide check doese not waste air contrary to beleif. People sometimes think that the gas hissing out when you unscrew a tank or remote is being wasted from your tank for some crazy reason (Catlin's review below for instance)... Its only gas that is residing in your marker and will be wasted either way because you have not fired off the residing gas before completely unscrewing your tank or remote as you are supposed to do. So having a slide check is always good where as this one doese NOT have one. 32 Degrees made another version of this remote with a slide check and it may be a better remote.. I do not know or will I, as I do not plan on purchasing another 32degree product... Also, when preasurized, it tangles up and makes a mess of itself.. Good remotes dont do that..
Conclusion: Beware of this product! I dunno if I just got a faulty on/off valve or if its just not meant for my PMI 72/3000, but I still wasn't satisfied with the quality of this remote in any aspect! For that I give it a 1 star..

Kingman Java coiled remote. tank mounted on the gun.
Marker Setup: Bushmaster BKO. 14 ounce co2, Centerflag Dooley reg, co2 filter, 32* barrel sock, 32* coiled remote
Strengths: it is a nice remote that is durable and lightweight
Weaknesses: my only gripe is that it has a somewhat grippy texture instead of being slick.
Review: overall this coiled remote is a very good investment in anybody who would like their marker to be much lighter and compact. it is a very good idea for speedball players. with the proper harness, it is possible to run the very large, 68 cubic inch CO2 tanks and large 118ci nitro tanks without adding weight to the marker itself.
Conclusion: Get this remote if you want a lightweight, compact marker and still want to use a large co2 or nitro tank to get the most possible shots. it also acts as an expansion chamber for co2 users so it is almost impossible to get liquid in the marker.

This remote is one of the best that ive tested and looked at. it's the one i personally use!

Marker Setup: Tippmann 98 custom with a flatline barrel, 32 degrees coiled remote air system, an adjustable stock and ADCO hotshot sight. I also carry two PT xtremes and two Tippmann Squad-busters
Strengths: -its cheap
-the remote gets that irritating tank off of your gun
-the coiling keeps it neat, because i have never had a tangle with this
-makes maneuvering easier
Weaknesses: -breaks easily
-not always gas efficient
-falls apart easily
Conclusion: In conclusion, the 32 degrees remote is an alright product, i was tempted to give it a higher review but it keeps breaking on me, which has prompted me to give it a six rather than an eight.
