Everything on my gun came stock, and thats basically how it will have to stay. This gun has a very bulky thread for the barrel so u wont be able to buy one off of the shelf(unless u feel like paying alot and have the luxury of being able to look in many stores, close by, because i would not travel far for this gun). One of the other ways u could change this is if u have one custom made, which most likely be about as much as u paid for the gun. hopefully |
 |
Recommended Upgrades: |
Well... I would recommend a new barrel but thats out of the question. Better volumizer. New grip if u dont like the plastic grip, but i feel its not a big deal. Other than that it comes well stocked. |

1.barrel gets loose during shooting.
2.not accurate
3.hard cocking
4.sight rail useless(because 2.)
I might have only had this gun for a short time but i already know im getting a different one! This gun was a disappointment. the overall look is great but looks arent everything. This gun is light but if ur that weak to care u shouldnt be standing on the other side of a loaded paintball gun. The slanted ball feed is a good touch to make u think this gun will be able to shoot straight, but dont count on it. the only way i can see this gun helping u in a match is if u have experience shooting mortars. i have used many a gun before and this by far is the hardest to pull back. If u plan on buying this gun because the look of it well .....ur dumb. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I got this gun thinking i would be able to adjust a cheap gun into a jacked beast. But no unless u have money to burn i would not get this gun. Anyway if u do have money to burn get a tippmann, spyder, even an orion. So if u want a crappy gun the Zap zxs-444 is the gun for u!!!(please dont buy it) |

I have used several different Spyder models, while the setup is similar, the quality is not. |
 |
| Marker Setup: |
I currently work with a Spyder Shutter and have a 16 inch Custom Products barrel, I use a 20 oz CO2 tank. |
 |
Recommended Upgrades: |
The ball retainer that prevents double feeding needs to be reseated on occasion, I placed a small piece of plastic underneath in the valve housing to prevent this. A new barrel is a must to improve accuracy. |

 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
Good entry level marker. Has most features found on better markers for familiarization. Upgradeable. |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Plastic construction, design problems, stock barrel. |
 |
| Review: |
ZXS-444 is a good marker to start off with for familiarizing oneself with features found on more advanced markers. With a new barrel and some minor modifications to the ball retainer this gun can be used fairly effectively against lower end stock Spyder markers. This gun is not recommended for serious competition. If the occasional weekend pickup game with non tournament level players is the intended use then this gun will do just fine. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Good for starting out or playing non-competition games, not recommended for competitive use. This gun will familiarize the beginning player with such features as those found on higher end markers and will perform well with modifications for basic paintball. If you are looking for something at competition level, look at other markers. |

| Review: |
This was my very first gun, i bought it for 55 dollars at academy sports. All my friends had spyder victors, but i thought i would get this gun since it had a grip and was cooler looking. So i get this and i go to my friends house and get set up to shoot.I first start shooting and the balls curved horribly!!!!!!i was about 50 feet away, and these were missing by like 1 foot.So i think, well maybe the velocity is to high.I change the velovity on the back, and try again.Same thing, its horrible but i tricked one of my friends and got his spyder victor, which is at least 2times better. If u are thinking about getting this un, u really should reconsider, i hate this gun with a passion. Dnt buy it. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
dont buy this, why? it sucks, but i need more words so, smurf u, smurfer, Did u do anything with smurfet? SMURF YA!!!!!!! |

| Review: |
I bought this gun as a backup & so I could take friends with me if they were new to the game. I bought it in a package for about $100 with mask, goggle, co2, & ball hauler. This was a great price considering the gear & it has an x-chamber & drop forward. I was disappointed that it has a plastic body, I have not had any troubles with it after 1 year of use. The grip is hard plastic, but can be delt w/ if you have good gloves. Now this gun is VERY paint picky. If you use PMI balls they are too large & you will bust some. If you use Diablo paint it seems to be a perfect barrel match & then it shoots very accurate without chopping. This gun can be upgraded, but it has a weird thread on the barrel. I contacted Zap directly & they told me that J&J could make a barrel for it. This can be a bit pricey. This has a very short trigger pull for fast shooting. This could be a very good gun w/ enough up grades or leave it stock for a good entry level gun. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is a good value. it is not a top of the line gun but is a good entry level marker. It took some trying to find out what to shoot through it, which is why most people probably don't favor it. If you use Diablo or similar paint it will shoot very good. It could be better but what do you want when the whole kit cost $100. I give it the 7 of 10 do to its quirks as listed above & no lower because it has been reliable. The most important thing about this gun as with all of them, oil it before you play the first time, there is only enough lube in it for shipping. |

| Review: |
couple of things if you buy this gun it's going to need major upgrades like mabe... Aluminum parts!! If you use this gun too much the cock bar will break. You see zap is the first company in paintball to make disposible paintball guns. so unless your a one time playing paintballer don't even bother with ANY zap. zap makes brass eagle look good!! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
get a new gun like a spyder tl+ or spyder E-99
P.S this is a one time use gun |
