Tantrum bolt is precision machined & made by hand by an expert machinist. These are NOT cheap molded plastic bolts. The head is Ertalyte which DOESN'T SWELL! This lets the head be made to much higher tolerance eliminating blowback due to an undersized stock bolt. High flow, reduced drag, 11 jet venturi design is efficient and easy on brittle paint. Fits BM2K/BKO/DEFIANT.

Review:
The Tantrum/Dezign bolt is everything the description says it is; increased my velocity by 15fps with the same input pressure. The bolt does seem to be a bit louder than the stock bolt, I think this might be because of the o-ring not allowing blow-back.
The one thing I did like that wasn't advertised was that it increased the accuracy of my shot pattern. I only noticed this with valves mostly, but I could tell an tighter pattern even with my sceptor barrel kit installed.
The bolt fits like a glove in the chamber, was held to fairly tight tolerances considering its a paintball part. It claims it doesn't need lube, but you should always lube the oring in the front so it doesn't start to fall apart (wich it does slowly).
Conclusion:
I am giving this product a 10/10 because it has enhanced my guns long range capabilities. I have gotten many players out that have guns on par or better than mine in long range shoot-outs because of its extremely tight pattern. Good job Dezign.

Review:
I bought this bolt to stop blowback, which it did for me. It has a single o-ring which does the job just fine in my gun, and the quality is very good. I've put about 6 cases of paint through my gun since getting this bolt, and I haven't had a single problem with it.
There is a bit more friction when compared to the stock bolt (due to the o-ring), but I am still able to run my LPR at 75 psi without having any cycling problems. I am running a Halo on a NW riser, and haven't noticed any feeding issues or problems with the bolt bouncing paint back up the stack. The bolt works just fine with my older nylon ball detent without any sticking.
The bolt is shorter and doesn't stick out from the end of the gun at all. Removing the bolt is easy between games, but I wouldn't want to try to field strip my gun while hiding behind a bunker.
I guess the venturi design is supposed to be gentler on paint to prevent breaking brittle paint. I was running a lower pressure (about 175psi) before I got this bolt, so I didn't have that problem to begin with.
Conclusion:
That's about it. It's just a bolt. I would have been happy with my stock one if I didn't need to get rid of my blowback. I did consider getting a Vapor bolt because they were cheaper, but I couldn't find any in stock at the time I needed one. In hindsight, I think I am much happier with this bolt, because it solved the problem I needed it to solve, without causing me any additional problems.

Has the same shape as before but is now a little shorter...the head is cut down a bit to let the ball drop in...made of Ertalyte TX which is self lubricating and won't swell...has a single O-ring in front to minimize blow-back...venturi design is very easy on paint...easy o remove
Conclusion:
This bolt is GREAT!!! I like it better than my Vapor Bolt...don't get me wrong the Vapor's good to but I like this one better...I felt it performed better with less ball breakage
