| Now all aluminum with hyper fast recharge makes this our most popular upgrade! The reactive trigger actually pushes your finger back after firing each shot! Shootdown is gone forever and the gas flows into the chamber so fast you can feel the valve heat up after a long string. Comes with everything you see here and is a direct replacement for the standard Mag valve. Slide it right in and go to town! |

| Marker Setup: |
68 automag w/ intelliframe,x-valve,dye ss barrel, dye drop forward, 68 4500 pure energy, marcro lines, and level x |

 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
Everything when you compare it to the classic valve. Astounding rate of fire with no shoot down what so ever!!! Paired with the Intelliframe, my rate of firing greatly increase and I was getting even more consistent groupings then with the classic valve (which those of you with a automag already know is good to begin with). The valve comes with the level 10 installed on it from AGD, but some fine tuning of the level 10 is still necessary. I just popped out the level 10 from my classic valve, installed it on the X-valve and I was ready to rock. The valve is all aluminum, so it is lighter then the classic and retro valves. This is defintely an upgrade I would highly recommend to any classic valve user. It's worth the money! |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Only thing I can say bad about the x-valve is maybe the price and you have to use HPA, which wasn't an issue with me since I was already using it. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I'm a poor college student, but the benifits out-weight the price tag. Save some bucks and go on a ramen diet, so you can get yourself a x-valve! I use to catch a lot of crap for shooting a mag; after the x-valve, most of the critics shut up. |

I built a mag from scratch: ULE body, intelliframe, x-valve, infinity barrel, psycho ballistic drop, macro line and a 68/4500 dynaflow HPA tank |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
No shootdown, extremely fast, comes with level ten |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
for some maybe the price but worth it |
 |
| Review: |
Well this valve is really really fast, u can control the trigger reactivity if u have a adjustable HPA tank (dynaflow etc). The consistency of the valve if pretty impressive too, just have the right paint/barrel match and ur set. One thig to remember is to oil the on/off alot and dont be shy with the oil. Afterwards dry fire the marker without the barrel for about 40 shots to spread the oil thoughout the gun. Last of all, it comes with the level ten installed but take it apart and put the right carrier inside of it. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Accompanied by a nice supa fast hopper this thing can hold up with the electros and even squash some.... speed wise (caugh angels caugh) Another quality upgrade from AGD. |

| Review: |
My wife let me get my Christmas present early (in Oct.) and guess what I asked for? The X-Valve with Level 10!
I traded in my old Classic valve and AGD gave my a $100 credit towards my purchase, bringing my price to $225 +tax and shipping. To me that is money well spent.
The X-Valve/Level 10 does not arrive ready to drop in the gun and play. I listed this as a weakness, but it is really only a weakness if you can't follow simple directions included in the package.
It takes some fine tuning to achieve maximum performance for your individual marker. I followed the directions to the T and had my gun up and running in 20 minutes. I ripped through 1/2 a case just in my backyard that evening. WOW!! Faster then my Classic valve, lighter weight too, enough to notice a difference. I purposefully left my agitated hopper off and tried to chop a ball. The few times I managed to get a ball to mis-feed I heard a slight "psst" sound but I didn't chop the ball and I didn't miss a beat firing as fast as I possibly could.
Later that week I noticed some bolt stick while playing at my local field. I would have to pull the trigger several times before my gun would start firing. The instructions do specifically state that there may be one more fine tuning after all the parts (o-rings and seals) have broken in and are seated, and they even list step by step, if your Mag is doing this, than correct this, to remedy it. Seeing how I was at my local field and left the instructions at home, I hopped on my cell phone and called AGD customer service. (I got the number from 411) I told the tech about my bolt stick. "Add one more shim to your setup," he said. Well that was two months ago and my gun has worked flawlessly ever since with no bolt stick and no chopped balls!! It is also very consistent over the chrono. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is an excellent upgrade to any Mag that is still using a Classic valve. AGD has the best customer service in the business and, IMHO, some of the tightest tolerances and quality control that goes into their markers. My Mag has lasted me 11 years already, and now it is even better than before!
I am rating this a 10 because I feel it is the BEST valve on any mechanical marker in terms of reliability, consistency, and performance. |

Let me start by saying that with AGD's "Go X-Valve" the price ($225) becomes very reasonable. Especially since you are getting what is, in function, a brand new gun.
I turned my minimag, which had a 68 classic valve, into an RT with a level 10.
Now the level 10 softens up the return on the RT quite noticeably so don't expect the sharp snap back on the trigger but it does give you a very fast pull and recharge without having to worry about chopping.
One more bonus, the valve body is made of aluminum and reduces the overall weight aby 1/4 lb. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I have a brand new gun since getting the X-valve. It was well worth the cash. |

| Review: |
Key Strengths
--Light; Made of the same aluminum as the ULE Body. Much lighter than the ReTro Valve.
--Improved Recharge Rate; The Recharge Rate has been improved from the ReTro Valve allowing for an increase in BPS (Very slight) and improved cool-down.
--Made of Aluminum; Because it is made of Aluminum it's Anodizable. Comes in a variety of colors straight from dealers as well.
--3000PSI limit; The X-Valve is capable of putting 3000 psi through at one time.
--Comes with LX; The X-Valve comes with the Level 10 Bolt Kit standard, possibly the most important upgrade.
Key Weaknesses
--Will not work on CO2; HPA must be used the X-Valve, which is another expensive investment.
--Expensive; A new X-Valve alone is 300-325. Ouch. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
The X-Valve is a very important upgrade, if not the most important one. It comes with the Level 10 Bolt Kit which probably makes it the first upgrade new Automag owners should look into. The variety of colors they come in make for a lot of pretty looking 'Mags. And with the new Aluminum they're made of, matching Fades are all the more possible. I would recommend this to be your first upgrade. |

| Review: |
The X Valve is great, lighter, more quiet, quicker on the shot and with the level 10 you will never break a ball. Yes you will have to take the time to install the level 10 and play with it but the valve is great. The best money I ever spent. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is the best thing that AGD has put out since the Automag. The X valve with the level10, I havent had one ball break. I have made a hole with a knife and shot it with the rest of my paint and it still didnt break. I live in the great NW and when it is rainning, most everyone's guns are haveing trouble, even my friends top of the line Angel. Not me, not one break and shot up everyone that day. The cost is steep but worth every penny. Sell your blood if you have to, get this valve and it will make a infinite difference. I read the reviews and said to myself that it couldnt make that much difference but it did. If you love paintball and your Automag then you NEED to buy the X valve. You will not be sorry. |

| Review: |
In a word, WOW.
This is a very advanced valve. It is much lighter than the classic and minimag valves. shoots very fast, very quiet, and the Lvl 10 on it is awesome. It does require alot of tuning to get it right, but once it is correct, you will no longer chop.. I've put somewhere around 20 cases of paint through my gun, and have had no CHOPS whatsoever. I have had barrel breaks, but those were not the fault of the valve. I have actually held a paintball half way in the breech and fired the marker several times and it will not chop. It is reliable and very consistant. I can count on +4/-4 max at the chrono. This valve is VERY dependable.. You don't have to worry about it breaking down or not running correctly on game day. After you set it up, you just shoot oil through it before game day and keep it clean. Take care of it, and it will take care of you!
If you have any trouble, Airgun designs is more than willing to help you out! GREAT customer service. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Awesome product, awsome company. Stable, Durable, Dependable, WONT CHOP. What more could you ask for?? |

Ok I Am Not Good With These Upgrades..i bought this and left my mag there to get it put in...i got this with a large discount because they semi sponsor us...after some time i got my mag back and i loaded up with a nice case of marbs...after spending the rest of that day shooting the shed i woke up and took it out to the feild i was looking pretty nice now all red and black even on my mask and head cover....when the first game started i played front...i got a great ROF with this thing.....my classic had always been anamed outdated by the electro users having it called slow and old...i went on they looking at me telling me i should get a cocker...later on i got a great chance to show off the skills of this new upgrade by painting an electro user mentioned above orange(feild paint)...i am now on my laptop writing this at a feild where i am letting people who said it was outdated taste the paint.....and this is superior to any electro because batteries are not needed to power it only nitro(which is a must for mags anyways)...but this is a must get upgrade seeing how it and every other AGD upgrade are built for a reason..to improve your marker not to make it flashy |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This Is A MUST for any tourney player with a classic valve still..its totally worth shilling out the extra bucks over the retro(which i have too...not in this gun in my other 68..i have pretty much two) but this will eliminate angels bob longs autocockers...virtually anything in your way totally worth it plus it comes with a lv10 |

| Review: |
I think this is possibly the best upgrade for any marker I've ever seen. The X-valve turned my Minimag into a beast! No more shootdown, and no more chopping! Even though it's expensive, it's almost like trading in your old mag w/ an AIR valve for an RT (only with the superbolt, too). I haven't had any problems with mine so far, but I've only had it for a month or so. Who cares, AGD is the king of customer service. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you're willing to lay down the cash, it's a must for anyone still playing with an AIR valve. Once again, AGD has put out another quality product.
9 because of the hole in my wallet. |
