This radical new design puts the wrist in proper alignment when holding the marker in a tight shouldered position. Designed for the high volume shooter who spends most of his game throwing paint, it allows the unstressed muscles in the arm and hand to shoot faster and longer! The grip is made in two versions, one for Automags, the other especially for the RT.
Product Availability
The Airgun Designs Z-Grip is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Other trigger frames (stock AGD frame, DYE 2x frame, and Benchmark 2x frame)
Marker Setup: Automag powerfeed with ReTro valve
Strengths: Just about everything. Seeing as it is made by AGD, it works beautifully with the Automag (no tolerance issues). Also, with the ReTro, "bouncing" the trigger is infinitely easier for higher rates of fire (because gravity works with you and makes the trigger pull lighter and easier to do quickly). The frame itself is of very high quality, and there is virtually no trigger slop. A couple of the major advantages of this frame include the ability to maintain a VERY low profile when shooting from behind bunkers (helps keep your elbow/arm tighter to your body), and it allows you to tightly shoulder the gun and shoot with one hand (great for being a front player and shooting while running, especially bunkering people). I could go on and on...
Weaknesses: Honestly, I have no complaints about this frame, other than it doesn't come with built-in support for intellifeed (or the ability to use it with an E-Mag).
Conclusion: If you go and ask people their opinions about the Z-Grip, remember, it is all about your personal preference. This is a GREAT frame - it works perfectly and is made very, very well. Try it for yourself with a tank attached to the gun. If you find it comfortable, use it. If not, don't worry about it, and don't call it crap, as it just does not work with your style of playing. I bought it on Friday, and had my first tournament ever yesterday (Sunday), and honestly could not be happier. Centerflag games were a breeze, and there were plenty of bunkerings (hehe). It's a great sensation to be able to shoot accurately and quickly with one hand while carrying the flag. For my playing style, I love it. But as I stated before, it's about what's comfortable for you.

Strengths: Wow!!! I love the Z-Grip!!! I have the Z-Grip on my Automag RT and it just makes the reactive trigger even better. Using the z-grip/RT your fingers just relax on the grip and "bounce" off of the trigger, creating VERY high rates of fire. When you shoulder your gun, it is very comfortable, and you don't get stressed causing you not to lower your gun. It is always shouldered.
Weaknesses: You can't lay down and shoot. Its merely impossible.
When you walk around with it, people look at you funny.
Conclusion: Definitly a good investment. If you have $150 to spend, please purchase this, it puts the fun back into shooting. I rate it 9 because of the lack of ability to lie down with it, and the cost. You'll love the trigger!!!

Review: I shot a Z on a guy's minimag about a year ago. It was a sweet pull and better than my friend's intelliframe. After I got a RT on trade, I decided to buy a new frame (the stock one is a bit cheap). After some searching and a lot of waiting, a guy contacted me about a Z-grip for the classic RT. I statched it up.

This frame on the RT is better than it was on the minimag (original valve). The trigger pull is very tight. After I got used to using the Z full-time, I bet I improved my speed a good 4-5bps.

It's a little on the heavy side, but I have little to complain about since I use a classic RT. My rig could be used to break down doors. However, the weight means its quality. All metal parts and well-machined. Basically, everything you would expect from an AGD upgrade.

A little note on reactivity: Sweetspotting the RT with this frame is very easy.
Conclusion: Try one and if you like it, definitely find one. It's a great purchase and makes for a sweet semi-rare setup.

Every aftermarket frame that there has been for the mag and classic RT.
Marker Setup: Classic RT
Z-grip
LX
Many barrels
soon to have Warp and halo TSA
Strengths: Very Comfy.
Weaknesses: None other than getting use to it like any other new frame.
Review: I love my Z. I can rip on it uber fast. I can keep up a steady stream of paint for long periods w/o any problems. I have no problems running w/ it or lying down like other people say. I am overly pleased w/ my z grip, and will definanlty recomend to any one that wants high rates of fire. What other frame do you know of that when you go to a field you get odd looks and "What the heck is that?", "Sweetness, Can i hold it?". That makes it worth all the money that i spent on my Z-Grip.
Conclusion: I would definantly get it if i could find another one.(Very RARE, only like 400-450 made) Porbably the greates thing AGD did after making the mag.

Review: i tried this and thought it would be weird once you get used to it it's like second nature, and i dont know what everyone is talking about you can't shoot laying down i have no problem at all with it. great for front players and snap shooters and when you have to get small real fast. would not reccomend for back players because... why?

Marker Setup: Rt pro
AGD flat-line 68
warpfeed
Halo feeder
level 10 bolt
Strengths: Great design really takes out the stress on the hand and wrist, extermly comfortable, easy to install, makes pulling the trigger alot easier and quicker. also with the reduce size it really makes your marker smaller target I do recommend a remote or longer drop down to keep the tank out of the way, also a warpfeed and short barrel makes it look compact and neat.
Weaknesses: nothing really- the only thing i I would say bad about it is the lack of the intell fram, also shooting while on the lying on the ground does take a little getting use too. They could have taken a little more weight off it but it is hardly noticable.
Conclusion: this is and excellent product, aside form a little problems I would deffently recomend this grip it feels great and it looks so cool.

This product is sexy. The other grips of course or good, but this one is sweet. I had a Bench mark frame, but the z grip is really nice, the bench mark frame like any other besides the z grip are regularly straight down.
Marker Setup: I have an automag classic thats chrome polished, warped sportz cradle, of coarse the black z grip, ans bolt, nitro, forgrip, boomstick
Strengths: when you go to move up or bunker some one its good for tight shoulder positioning to keep your gun up near your shoulders, insted of a regular grip, you get to hold it up highewr for shooting right above the bunker.
Weaknesses: it doesnt really matter when your running and not shooting even thought the z grip doesnt go straight down, but it still is sexy. It doesnt really get in the way when its in that position.
Conclusion: This product is very good. It postions your rist perfectly for tight shoulder position. If you have a mag, get it. It also gets your friends asking all about it.

Strengths: very comfortable, when holding tha marker you're naturally in a nice tight position with elbows nicely tucked in. no strain on your wrist and you don't have your wrist at some weird angle to fire. i've heard reports of it being difficult shooting with your off hand but i found this no real problem.
Weaknesses: i run a 1.9 air bottle so fitting that can make holding the marker arkward. but put an offset on the drop forward solves that problem. could be just too comfy. sounds weird but it's just soo tempting to feather the trigger and just blast paint till the cows come home. other than that no probs. it's been said before so i'll say it again, it does make things difficult to shoot while lying down and running, but nothing that can't be worked on.
Conclusion: just brought an RT which had the Z-grip fitted. it came with a sandard grip too incase i didn't like the Z. As soon as i picked the marker up i loved it.put the Standard grip back in my tool box and since forgotten about it. if you get an oppurtunity to try one, do, and it'll take away any doubts of the Z.

NOTHING LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marker Setup: automag w/ powerfeed
z-grip
ans ventury bolt
freak barrel
NWP drop forward
47cu. in. 3000 psi.
Strengths: you can keep tucked into those little spaces with this beast!
shooting with either hand is a breeze!
helps bring tank forward for more compact gun!
easyer to tuck in far to your gun and shoot accuratly !
no need for big drop forward!
this grip is a must if your a front player!
Weaknesses: for right handed shooting is really had to get your hand into position with macroline hoses, 90degree fittings and what not.... just geta small drop forward and this problem is solved
Conclusion: great upgrade to get for your RT ,mini mag, automag, ect...

Regular grip frames for all types of markers.
Marker Setup: Autococker with 12" boomy, stabilizer, custom milled body and front block, lightening bolt, tornado valve, powered by a 68ci 4500psi max flow tank.

Micromag with 8.5" Taso pro series with Z-Grip with a 68ci 4500psi Centerflag hyperflow.
Strengths: It is extremely comfortable, and the trigger is the best I've shot with a mag. You can shoulder it tightly, and easily get off 4-5 shots in a 3 shot snap shoot. Easy as pie to bunker people, and run with the gun shouldered. It's really not all that hard to learn. From the moment I picked it up, I was one with the gun, and hammering out the paint from a tight little ball.
Weaknesses: It is hard to use lying down. It's not impossible, but quite difficult. Awkward to run with at your side. Have to get an extra hopper of balls everytime I go out because of all the people wanting to test it out.
Conclusion: I love this grip. You should try one before you buy, because it's a bit awkward to use, and some people don't like it.
