This bolt is made of zero friction delrin just like our other bolts. This means less resistance with the breech and will increase air efficiency. It comes with two grooves on the front of the bolt, one for cops and one for the ball detent. This means no more busted ball detents. It also combines the best of both single hole and venturi designs. Which will increase velocity 10-15 fps and that will save you air.
Product Availability
The Evil Bolt is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Cobra bolt, New Designz bolt (new and old one) R-11 bolt (original and midified version) speed bolt, modified stock bolt
Marker Setup: Silver Dust Impact IR3, 10in Boomstick, Evil bolt, Evil Valve kit, Cobra SS hammer, Chrome Check-it clamping No-rise, SS function butons, Freeflow ERA mod with Orracle Tickler LPR, Pure energy 68ci 4500psi tank, Black Redz tank cover, shocktech long-drop. Black Evolution II with Y-board, Black WAS Turbo Rev
Strengths: Very very slick, consistant, well designed, quality, light weight, good flow rate
Weaknesses: none so far
Review: I used to have chopping problems with the stock bolt, and I looked around for an R-11 bolt, but they are no longer made, so I switched from using a stock bolt, and a cobra indestruct-detent, to an Evil bolt, and an Eclipse detent, and to this date, I have shot well over 20 cases through my IR3, since then, and with the some fine tuning of my Cops2 system, I have had 3 choped balls, all of which were caused wen I used my Turb Rev (seeing as I don't have a gated feed tube anymore, it was caused from shooting the gun sideways) but when I use my Egg2 I have no chopping problems,I have the occasional double feed, but that happens once in a blue moon!
Conclusion: I would definately recomend this bolt, I used to have one in my old impulse, but I got rid of that Piece Of Sh!t, I liked the bolt so much that I got one for my angel. It's a great bolt, nice increase in Fps over the Crono.

Stock Bolt, soon to try out the WDP Soft Face Bolt
Marker Setup: Basic Black IR3 A3 68ci 4500psi Cobra Trigger w/ personally accomplished trigger mod Twist Lock Short Feed Stack EVO II (The EGG) Smart Parts 2 pc black Freak Barrel
Strengths: Air Efficient, virtually Friction less Delrin
Weaknesses: Some what paint paint picky. Crappy Bolt Shaft
Review: I'm highly disappointed at the crappy construction of such an awsome bolt. As stated above the only complaint I have about the bolt is it's crappy SHAFT. It would not stay screwed into the bolt. Every so often my IR3 chops and jams because the SHAFT would come loose from the bolt. Did I mention the SHAFT is crap? It also snapped in half leaving the threaded end of the SHAFT inside the bolt. As a last resort I tried some super glue to keep the damn thing in there So it could've been my doing, BUT STILL
(for those who don't know, The Shaft is the metal rod that connects the bolt to the hammer when the breech is closed. the hammer moves back/forth moving the bolt with it.)
Conclusion: I don't Think I will be buying this bolt again. It's Too bad cause I liked it when it was working properly. If only they made it much sturdier then It would pursuade me to reconsider. Until Then. . . . It gets a 6 because a bolts no good without the shaft.

Cobra Bolt, Stock IR3 and A4 Bolts.
Marker Setup: C&C IR3 w/ACE; Angel Speed; Andrenalin LCD with ACE, Angel Air, Freak barrels.
Strengths: Looks great...
Weaknesses: It is too rough on the ball. I get barrel breaks from the impact.
Review: Brittle paint that would normally shoot fine out of the Stock Bolt, cobra bolt or A4 bolt would break just by the bolt change in all my markers (SPEED, IR3, and LCD).

The break would occur at point of impact; switch the bolt and the same paint shoots on all three angels I own. Let me reiterate, it is not chopping, but having breaks at impact during slow fire conditions.

When using fresher paints or non brittle tourny stuff (EVIL (black boxes))... the velocity does increase by about 13 fps over the stock bolt. If you use FIELD PAINT like Blaze you will not have a problem with this bolt.

The gains are not higher than what you would get with either the A4 bolt or the Cobra bolt.
Conclusion: I don't recommend this product because it limits how brittle of a paintball you can shoot. I was disappointed with this EVIL product as other items in the past have faired well.

I would say take a look at the A4 bolt which retails for only $25 or try the proven Cobra bolt. Same gains if not more and does not cause the breaks from brittle balls.
