The IP3 Impulse Hammer System is a multiple weight hammer kit that allows the player to adjust the hammer weight to their particular gun setup. This is a must if you change bolts or valve dwell settings. If the gun is left stock, you can increase the cycle rate, or just fine tune the gun for optimal performance.

I have had my impulse for a good time now and have put basically every single upgrade available on it. I had a problem one day when my valve broke. I found this to be because the hammer i had been using(Smart Parts Brass Hammer), was too heavy for the valve to take. I was slightly irritated that an upgraded part that was highly recommended to me by others would end up breaking another part in my gun. I went on a search for a new hammer. All were the same design only made out of different metals. I wasn't sure which was too heavy, not heavy enough, or the correct weight. I then found the KAPP IP3 hammer. This hammer comes with 3 different weights that screw onto the other half of a brass hammer. You can either use the delrin, aluminum, or brass weights onto the rest of the brass hammer. I chose the delrin piece because this enabled the hammer to be heavy enough to move the bolt adequately, yet not too heavy to break the valve or create any unwanted kick. Now that i am running a delrin bolt with the IP3 hammer, my gun has almost NO kick and i challenge anyone to find a better set-up out there. I have tried. This IP3 is the best design as far as hammers go and is by far the most versatile.
Conclusion:
I would recommend that all imulse users try this hammer out because there is no way you can go wrong because you are provided with everything the others offer and more. It works flawlessly for me, and i know it will for anyone else.

Well what can I say.You have three differant backs you can use.Will make your gun very adjustable.This is very important to those who want to have the Impulse internal balanced.So far I have to say the delrin weight has been great i helping me balance out my internals on my Imp.If your looking for a multi weight hammer try this out today.
