What can I really say about this? I bought it like 2 years ago and I haven't had any problems with wear or anything breaking. I don't know what these other two fellas here are talking about, save for their markers were 1990's models whereas mine is is a 2002 model. Of course now they have their fancy 2005 models like the Evo which should have a little old problem like a weak sear more than fixed. The trigger frames is electric on that model actually, so nevermind.
Anyway, the only reason I needed to get a replacement sear is because I experimented with grinding down the tip of my original sear to shorten the trigger pull. Needless to say I did a little to much grinding.
I guess this thing was cut by a laser. As Austin Powers would say, "Woopdie doo Bazel, woopdie doo." Laser cut or sanded, as long as it's made of stainless steel and not plastic, I don't really care. It's just a sear. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you're looking for a replacement sear, get this! It's stainless steel, and makes a wonderful engagement ring for that very special female machine shop enthusiest. |

IT'S FOR A PIRANHA |
 |
| Review: |
Well i had my piranha in 99' and back then the sears on the piranha's had a defect and they blew. horrible after like 2 cases it would just turn into a shot gun. Before these your trigger pull would also be like 6 mm. After it woul only be like 5 :P . |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is a must unless you want an electro trigger. I give it a 7 because well it isn't perfect but it's above average. people go crazy with ratings. 5 is average and 10 is perfect. This is in between. |

| Review: |
i got my gun back in january of 2002. it was a piranha vtl g2. i used it for about 4 or 5 months and was very happy with my new gun. then the sear broke. no big deal. i went to my local paintball store. they fixed it for free and only charged me for the sear. it cost me 12 bucks. i took the gun home and shot it for a while and made sure everything was ok. i shot about half a hopper full and it broke again. i was pissed but it wasnt too big of a deal for me....i figured the new sear was defective. so i got it fixed again but this time i went straight to paintball. it broke on my 1st or 2nd game and i didnt even fire that much. i got it fixed again. this time the guy at the paintball store said it was laser cut and made from a stronger metal and would last forever. it may have been laser cut but it broke just as fast as the other ones. i didnt buy another frame because i was afraid it might not have been the sears fault. could have been the hammer. so i bought a tippmann which ive had no problems with while my piranha is still sitting around collecting dust. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
not a good product. broke 3 times and im pretty sure its not my guns fault. DO NOT BUY THIS SEAR. get a whole new frame made by kingman. |
