STREGNTHS:
Accuracy: After installing this bolt you will see noticebly tighter shot groupings, even with cheap paint. I shot Diablo Nightmare and Evil through my gun, and after I installed my bolt, Nightmare groupings were almost as tight as the Evil was before I had the bolt. Now the Evil's groupings are down to about 4-5 inches at 60 feet from 6-8 inches at 60 feet.
Icreases velocity: This is a plus for all you Eforce Piranha users. It will give you better battery life! Heres how it works. Your velocity increases so you turn down your spring tension again. What this does is lower spring tension (obviously), and relieve pressure from the sear. With less pressure on the sear, the solenoid will be able to push the sear free of the hammer for a greater number of shots, and then you have more batterie life, maybe not a whole lot, but in low power conditions, every little bit helps.
Less friction: Less friction will increase the speed of the bolt hammer assembly when it is released by the sear, so it opens the valve much quicker, and the key to more velocity is to release air very very quickly, and not let it trickle, so it comes all at once. It's better for the insides of your gun this way since they won't get scratched up over time and wear out.
Fewer breaks: Not much to say here. Except for the fact that you won't have to sqeegee as often, it also means a lower chance of jamming because of a piece of shell caught in the bolt, and less time spent cleaning out your gun. You will probably only have to oil your hammer and valve once in a while.
Less kick: Obviously, this means a more steady aim on long and short bursts, sending your paint to your opponent instead of La La Land.
Efficiency: After being able to play with this bolt for a while I noticed a huge increase in effiency. I am getting well over 300 shots from my nine ounce tank, when before I would maybe get 300-350. I kinda lost track after half of a hopper and two pods, I could have shot four of five hundred, at 70 degrees (it was a cold summer day), thats Insane!!!
EDIT: I'm getting around 1000 or so shots from one twelve ounce now, give or take, probably more give than take. I'm not saying you will have the exact same results, it's just what happened with me. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you have a Piranha, get this bolt, it's great, and there is nothing wrong with it and its inexpensive. No problems with it, increases Efficiency greatly so I give it a 10. Get one if you don't already have a good delrin bolt. An amazing part for the price. |

One thing i might say about this bolt is that it is amazingly accurate combined with a aftermarket barrel. after the first 50 shots though, i had one ball break...and ONLY one ball. probably needed a few shots to break in. another good/bad thing about this bolt is that it increases the velocity. problem is, is that it increased my velocity way too much. i was firing 324 fps on the low velocity spring on my GTI (371 with medium). luckily i got to play at 309. just to add on...for some reason when i first tried to install this bolt...it just did not want to cooperate. it just did not want to go into the chamber. it kept stopping halfway through before the hammer hit the sear. but after a while, it finally went in. and boy, lucky for me this bolt was well worth the effort to get in. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Get this, and an aftermarket barrel (i suggest a Smart Parts Progressive barrel)...and u got a keeper |

This is an AWESOME product, and i highly recomend it for any piranha owners. I got it not too long ago and it has performed so well. Even if I turn my vision off, i can shoot 15-16 bps without breaking a ball... now that's performance! It cups the ball perfectly and i was sooooooooooo amazed at how much more accurate my gun was!! i mean- if i hold the gun steady and walk the trigger for a couple of seconds, i can get out about 25 balls and only drop my point by about 2 inches or less while hitting a tree about 30 yards away! Its like an Autocoker now! THANK YOU SO MUCH SHOCKTECH!!! |

| Conclusion: |
Get it!! |

Man this is a great buy. My cousin and i have the same guns except his still has the stock bolt. We were target practicing for fun and he was off by like 5-6 inches and i was off maybe 1 inch from the target. The target we shot were some popcans tied from trees. I would recomend this. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I would recomend this for any stage of paintballer, who has some money burning a hole in their pocket. |
