skitz Thursday, December 4th, 2003 Period of Product Use: 3 months Paintball Experience: 3 years Similar Products Used: Dye LPR Strengths: Easy to install Weaknesses: Setting changes with weather and tank input pressure Review: I had the Shocktech LPR and had many troubles with it. It would work fine for one day and then the next day it would require resetting even though nothing else had changed in my set up besides the tempature outside. Occasionaly during the day the adjustment set screw would loosen up and then let the adjustment screw loosen up causing the bolt to stop working. I found a good price on a DYE LPR and have been happier with that. The Dye LPR does not chop paint even on the highest setting and once it is set, it stays set unless I change something somewhere else like the HPA Tank or Dwell settings. Conclusion: Buy a Dye LPR for ease of use, Buy a SCM if you want, but beware the older ones. Don't get the Shocktech unless it is free. E bolt, PBC blade trigger, EVO 2, Crossfire 68ci. 4500psi LP tank, NW cradle, THOR adj. regulator, Freak kit. Redz tank cover Strengths: lower pressure cool looks Weaknesses: none Review: with this upgrade the gun can rarely ever chop, its a great little buy at such a low cost, its performance is nice its really hard to find your perfect pressure on the reg but once your there its flawless. I tested my matrix out with it tuned in perfectly...i hit the ball 9 times before it chopped...i can even stop my bolt by putting my finger infront of it. I got my LPR at thematrixcenter for only 55 dollars its a great deal there id buy from them Conclusion: good price for such a nice performance piece every matrix owner should have this mod its one of the most important upgrades to get for the gun Rating: 10 out of 10 I found this review   0 Comments - Add Comment
