It’s approximately the same size and weight as a real one. It will add realism and looks to your scenario games and make the others feel left out. Together with our quality aluminum AR100 upgrade for the TIPPMANN 98 or the TIPPMANN 98 Custom you will have the look, feel, quality and reliability of any other (more expensive) scenario gun. While the rest of the crowd has equipment from star wars, yours looks like it was Government Issue. The Clip mounts where the front handle is. There is only one screw to remove, pull off the front handle, insert the clip, replace screw and have fun. It can’t be easier. Paintball Experience: 4 years Similar Products Used: Stock issued grip Marker Setup: Tippmann Custom 98 Flatline Barrel Dark Horizons Titanium Bolt Rocket Cock I 32 Degrees Remote Coil A5 Car stock w/ snap on cheek and stock butt padding 32 Degrees m16 sight tail Response Trigger Modified Allen Sling System Polished Internals AR100 Clip Attachment Strengths: Appearance (With barrel and stock setup) Weaknesses: *The attachment piece...weight if you're gun is unbalanced *Price Review: I read the previous reviews and after finding a picture of the clip mod on a C98 with a flatline barrel and a5 car stock, I actually liked it. The weight of the magazine clip is actually pretty solid and seems to be constructed well. The C98 with the clip mod, flat line barrel, sight rail, and car stock help make the gun appear more realistic in terms of appearance. The gripes I had were the look of the attachment piece that you screw into and the price. I agree with the previous posters that the clip does need a facelift. You CAN still see the part of the original foregrip handle which now screws into the clip....it makes the clip attachment to appear somewhat ganky. Overall the concept was excellent. In comparison to the A5 clip, the C98 has this onle clip mod from what I can find. The A5 has numerous mods that you can find at Opsgear that are way better in terms of design and attachment. It amazes me that the C98 only has this one clip mod seeing as this marker is supposed to be the most customizable. The final gripe concerns the price....50 bucks is fairly pricey for a clip attachment IMO. I managed to get free shipping and 10% off for a spring sale so it helped a bit...but price = lame IMO. Conclusion: Buy if you have the extra cash and can see what the gun looks like with the mod on before you buy it......might want to wait and see if they release a new model in the future. Marker Setup: Tippmann Model 98 Custom - DYE Ultralite 12", DYE Sticky grips, Raised Sight Rail, ADCO Sure Shot Red Dot Sight, GTA Expansion chamber, GTA Double Trigger, Richochet 2k Hopper, 20oz Co2 Tank.. More on their way. Strengths: Creative and well thought of... Weaknesses: Ugly and stupid... Review: This clip for the 98 custom/model 98 is a well thought of idea but it lacks the looks of a real M4. The reason I say this is because of the way it attatches to the front grip. You can still see the original grip, just not the bottom half. So when you put the clip on, you can still see the first half of the normal grip and the "clip grip". You'll basicly have a cyllinder with a rectanguler box for a grip attached together. Conclusion: I give this product a 2 because of the lack of looks and realism and for the creativity. But I reccomend not buying this because it makes your gun look stupid. If you want to make your 98c look real, buy from Pro Team products. It may be more expensive but it has a better and real looking barrel. The Ballistic sports has a J and J 2 piece sticking out which also makes it look stupid. Do not buy this product. Weaknesses: Plastic, Ugly, Back to the drawing board for this. Review: Doesnt give the gun a real look like advertised it lacks of detail. If the spent more time on this product i think that it could of been better but its not and not worth buying. But if your willing to give it a try go ahead, You might like it on the cus. Conclusion: Dont waste your money, put it to something you really need. I gave it a 3 because it just didnt catch my attention.
