Wicked Air Sportz adds two more markers to the Equalizer family. AKA's Viking and Excalibur markers now come factory with the Equalizer board. This board boasts many improvements over the original hardware such as faster operation, better battery life, and support for an anti-chop system. The same board works in either the Viking or Excalibur!

Review:
This board is great for vikings. Its fast, great repsonse, easy to adjust settings.
Dwell for hump noids is from 8-12ms. Recommended is 10ms.
The newest code is 2.0 so far to this date. It has PSP, NXL ramping modes, eye power, etc, which are features that werent included in earlier versions. You will need an equalink cable and you can download from their website the new updates. This is a great feature, although the cable is 50+bucks.
Negatives about the board are bad customer support. They assume that everyone that has issues are a result of the "gun" or the "user". Its never the "board" that causes the problem. They have unregulated first shot w/ 1.6 software which adds 4ms dwell to eliminate FSDO (first shot drop off). It does, but I ended up getting first shot hot. A lot of other users have too. I chrono like 310, 300, 280, 282, 280, 281...etc. etc. You know how consistent vikings are. Im guessing they still have the 4ms dwell added w/ the new codes. IMO this feature should be a menu and allow the user to fix the amount of dwell needed to be added for the first shot, just like Tadao boards, w/ the ABS feature. Its way easier to regulate that first shot. My chrono w/ Tadao is 282, 282, 281, 280..etc.
The adjustments are easy to change. Pull and hold the trigger...turn on the gun. You are in programming mode. Toggle between the LED colors to enter a menu. W/ 1.6 firmware, red is dwell, green is debounce, and orange is eye mode. Then pull and hold the trigger until the LED goes out. The LED will blink a certain number of times to tell you what your current setting is. Then pull the trigger to change to the new desired setting. Allow the LED to blink a confirmation. Turn the gun off. Its really easy to change settings.
Its a decent board, but I think Tadao is way better. It has more to offer than WAS. But, w/ the new 2.0 code, WAS is making its way back up to compete with pandora, and Tadao.
Conclusion:
Fine board, decent price, fast, user friendly. But if you have the money, just buy the Tadao board. Its much better. And WAS customer service kinda sucks too. Other than that, no complaints. Id like to give it an 8.5, but Ill go w/ 9
quality and cleanlyness of build,ease of use,and performance so far are top notch

i had the opportunity to shoot a couple WAS equipped vikings and was demonstrated the new software and equalink,i was very impressed,the performance differences were
noticed immedietly.mainly in the adjustabilty/versatility of the software and the eye support option,if WAS can handle the demand and propperly support the product its deffinatly a winner
Conclusion:
for older solinoid owners,your dwell will have to be adjusted to work propperly,but other than that its a slick drop in mod that can seriously increase your useabilty and performance
faster, works with eyes, allows you to set bounce, unlimited rate of fire with eyes

capped at 13bps if you don't have eyes, bad instructions
Review:
I got the WAS board for my excalibur. Installation was rather easy, and it only took me about 5 minutes. However, the included instructions wern't very good and my ease of install came from me being a tech. After I reassembled the gun I put some air in it and the board shot great. The bounce is another great feature, definately fun to mess around with. I recently sent my gun to get drilled for eyes, so soon I shall have an unlimited rate of fire.
Conclusion:
Definately worth the money, you get a faster gun, the ability to have eyes, and you get bounce. This is a must have upgrade.
I used the Stock Nelson Board before switching to the WAS Equalizer Board.

Able to adjust dwell and bounce throught he trigger
I upgraded from the older Nelson Boards, and am really glad I did. I know have a board the I can use eyes with, and is capable of letting the Viking cycle over 50cps. We know of people shooting spurts of 27bps WITH PAINT, with the Equalizer and Eyes on the Viking.
IF you own a Viking with a Nelson board you should seriously consider trading up and getting an Equalizer.

Makes the Viking compatible with Eyes
Allows the Viking to cycle much faster
Allows bounce and dwell setting to be set through the trigger
